Christina Aguilera is carefully helped down the stairs by gentlemanly husband Jordan Bratman while shopping at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, Calif., on Thursday night.

Xtina also attended the launch of the L’Agence clothing line at Fred Segal. She also wore the pieces from the clothing line to the event.

Christina recently talked to MTV About her new look that people are going gaga for. She said, “I was very inspired by the look and feel of that [pop-art] genre, your Jane Birkins, your Blondies, females who have come before who have done this so many times and so well — almost as an homage to them. Also, speaking of [Andy] Warhol, Nico from the Velvet Underground… so it all kind of ties in to a pop-art feel and twist, with a mod look. But a futuristic taste of what’s to come.” More Here! »

Christina Aguilera (in Ginvenchy) supports the release of “beautyLIGHT” by Matthew Rolston held at the Wallis Anneberg Cultural Center in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Rolston’s “beautyLIGHT” is a book of modern Hollywood photography featuring celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Drew Barrymore and Salma Hayek.

The 27-year-old singer’s new album, Keeps Getting’ Better – A Decade of Hits, is exclusively being sold at Target starting TODAY!

“It was really gratifying to see how much hard work I’ve put in over the last 10 years,” Aguilera told MTV News. When you’re in it, you just don’t realize as it accumulates how much you’ve done and how far you’ve come. I can’t believe it’s been a decade already. [On the album,] I wanted to include all the songs that I know I loved and that are crowd pleasers and real staples of my career thus far.”

Christina Aguilera is the latest celebrity to speak out against California’s Proposition 8, which eliminates the right of same-sex couples to marry. The ballot measure overturns a state Supreme Court ruling that briefly gave same-sex couples the right to wed.

She told MTV, “Last night, there was a whole rally that I saw for Prop. 8. A lot of people came out with their signs, and I think [Prop. 8] is discrimination and I don’t understand how people can be so closed-minded and so judgmental. We chose an African-American president, and it means so much … [it's] a time in history of great change and open-mindedness. Why is this any different? It just doesn’t make sense to me. Why you would put so much money behind something [aimed at] stopping from people loving each other and bonding together? I just don’t understand it. It’s hard for me to grasp. But I would’ve been out there with my rally sign as well.”

Christina ended with, “Mormons aren’t gonna buy my album but, you know, what are you gonna do?”

Christina’s new album, Keeps Getting’ Better – A Decade of Hits, goes on sale exclusively at Target starting Tuesday, Nov. 11. Entertainment Weekly gave it a B+, saying, “The singer has banished melisma and belting from these electronic confections, and her chops sound just as hot set on simmer. The real curiosity is a ‘Beautiful’ redo that imagines how John Lennon might’ve sounded if he’d lived into the age of electro.”

“With my last album, I had music that was very ’20s, ’30s and ’40s, and was very detailed and part of a very specific genre and sound,” she told Billboard. “But with this new album, I wanted to go in a completely opposite direction - a very futuristic, robotic sound and computer-sounding vocals. I’m experimenting with my voice in ways I’ve never done before, almost like a technical, computer-generated sound, which is different for me because I’m the type of vocalist that just belts. I’m always inspired by new things because I get bored.”

Check out Christina Aguilera’s new “Keeps Gettin’ Better” music video. The song is the first single off her upcoming greatest hits album Keeps Gettin’ Better - A Decade of Hits (available exclusively at Target on November 11).

The director for the music video was Peter Berg, the same director of the movie Hancock, which starred Will Smith. In the video, Christina travels through time and fashion in an homage to her ten year career.

“I really enjoyed making the video for ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better,’” said Xtina. “Being an artist who likes to play around with different looks, it was a lot of fun to portray various characters within the same shoot.”

Christina Aguilera rocks the stage in a few outfits as she performs live in concert at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

The performance in Abu Dhabi was the first time that Christina, 27, performed in the Middle East.
