Speed Racer stars Matthew Fox, Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman and Susan Sarandon get their vroom-vroom on at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach 32 Annual Pro/Celebrity Race on Saturday in Long Beach, Calif.

Orlando Bloom and Christina Ricci shoot scenes in New York City on Monday morning for the anthology film New York, I Love You.

Which actor isn’t in this film?!

Orly, 31, and Christina, 28, will be telling just one of the 12 different New York love stories in the movie. The pair also share the same manager, Aleen Keshishian.

Mr. Bloom took a picture of himself making a dorky facial expression with his iPhone (probably to send to a Ms. Miranda Kerr).

Orlando was also seen on set reading “The Brothers Karamazov”, the last novel by the Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky. Whether it was for the film or reading for pleasure–you decide!

Christina Ricci speeds through her grocery shopping in Los Feliz, Calif. Christina’s latest movie, Speed Racer, will be released on May 9th.

Christina, 28, explained that Speed Racer will have a very unique look to it because, “they’re editing this film as though it was a cartoon…there isn’t a film that’s been edited in this particular way.”

Movie posters and trailers have been released to promote the Japanese manga and cartoon-based movie.

Christina Ricci arrives in a stripey number at CBS in Los Angeles on Tuesday for an appearance at the studios with her dog in one hand and a soda in the other.

Christina currently stars in the movie Penelope, which was produced by Reese Witherspoon. Opening on leap year day
(Feb. 29), the film has grossed $3.8 million so far at the box office with mixed reviews.

Christina Ricci (in Jasmine di Milo) shows off the right amount of curves at the premiere of Summit Entertainment’s Penelope held at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Ricci, who turned 28 earlier this month, accessorized with Tiffany gems, Givenchy shoes and a J. Crew clutch. She plays the title character in Penelope, which is out Feb. 29.

The Hollywood Reporter says of the movie: “Charming, low-key fable with sly modern twist.”

Variety disagrees: “The whimsical ugly-duckling fable becomes more uneven as it proceeds, straining too hard to manufacture its quirky charms.”
