Babs said on The View yesterday that NBC’s offer “was much more, and Rick Hilton said to me, ‘You know I owe you one, and I’m sorry, but we’re going to go with NBC.’” Paris eventually did her TV interview with Larry King.
• Prince Harry’s army pals have nicknamed him “Ginger Bullet Magnet” because of his red hair and have even bought red wigs to wear in combat to prevent the enemy from easily identifying him. His girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, is even in on the joke, calling Harry, “Big Ginger.” Dirty Harry? Big Ginger? Hmmm…
• Newlyweds Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are honeymooning in Turks & Caicos.
• Forest Whitaker, Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett and Cuba Gooding Jr. are lending their voices to a new audio version of the Old Testament. The audio Bible, to be released in November on 72 CDs and on iTunes, features an all-black cast of more than 200 actors, singers and clergy, officials said Tuesday. The dramatic performances are set to an original musical score performed by the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
• Former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez is working on a clothing line named Ishkadada, which is inspired by world cultures. The actress told the Sony channel’s “It’s Midday in China” program that she plans to travel to a dozen countries, including China and Brazil, to “study people, social classes, history, culture” before finishing her designs.

Christina Ricci (in Sofia Kokosalaki) hosts the launch party of the Samsonite Black Label Fashionaire Collection (not yet available online) at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Thursday in New York City.

As the new face of Fashionaire, Christina, 27, arrived at LAX airport on Friday sporting the new luggage line in modern white-on-black (it will also be made available in black-on-white). Ricci will also appear in the Black Label’s look book and global ad campaign.

Her next film Home of the Brave will open in limited release on May 11 and will feature her Black Snake Moan co-star Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel, Chad Michael Murray, and 50 Cent. The film tells the story of three soldiers struggling to readjust to life at home after returning home from a lengthy tour in Iraq.

Christina Ricci splashes onto the scene in a slinky, backless magenta Narciso Rodriguez dress at the NYC premiere of her new film Black Snake Moan at Chelsea West Cinemas. Sex-ay!

Christina, 27, arrived at the premiere with 36-year-old boyfriend Adam Goldberg . The pair dated until the end of 2005, broke up, but have been seen back together since August 2006.

Black Snake Moan also co-stars Samuel L. Jackson (pictured below) and Justin Timberlake. It opened at Sundance Film Festival earlier last month and has garnered an impressive 88% so far on Rotten Tomatoes and opens nationwide in theaters on Friday, March 2.
