Sexy Ciara snaps a shot from behind on the cover of Rap-Up magazine’s Summer 2009 issue.

The 23-year-old “Love Sex Magic” singer discusses Beyonce comparisons, rumors of dating 50 Cent, and her tourmate Britney Spears. Check it:

On letting down her guard and trusting people: “You can’t stop rumors, you can’t stop people saying negative things, you can’t stop that stuff, so I’m not gonna let it stop me. I’mma keep on with my Super C coat on.”

On the Beyonce comparisons: “I know what work I put in to what I do and I know where I get my inspiration from and it’s definitely not the references that they put up on the Internet. People live for it. Negative energy travels faster than positive energy. Whoever it was, for them to dig deep down and find all those references, that’s ridiculous.”

On her tourmate Britney Spears: “Everything about Britney makes you like her. I feel like she’s a star. She’s got that energy that’s just magnetic. She just glows. It’s not just one thing about her that makes her cool.”

Ciara blends into NYC with her all-black outfit as she leaves the Waverly Inn in the West Village after dinner on Tuesday (March 24).

The 23-year-old Georgia-born singer has been burning up the airwaves with her recent video for her single, “Love Sex Magic”. The song features Justin Timberlake and the video was directed by Diane Martel and Ciara.

Check out Ciara new video for her smash hit single “Love Sex Magic” featuring Justin Timberlake from her album Fantasy Ride, in stores May 5.

The vid for the electrified dance track was directed by Diane Martel and Ciara. Sample lyrics: “So let me drive my body around you/ I bet you know what I mean/ Cause you know that I can make you believe/ In love and sex and magic.”

Ciara is teaming up with her Jive Records label mate Justin Timberlake on her newest single, “Love Sex Magic.” Co-written by Timberlake and produced by The Y’s, “Love Sex Magic” is a duet that will be featured on Ciara’s forthcoming third album, Fantasy Ride.

Diane Martel directed the music video featuring both Ciara and Timberlake. Their music manager Johnny Wright gives us a teeny tiny video preview below. You can also listen to the full “Love Sex Magic” track on YouTube.

13 of the world’s most renowned female singers pose with song creators/producers LA Reid and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds at Fashion Rocks to sing “Just Stand Up!”, the worldwide charity single benefiting Stand Up 2 Cancer at Radio City Musical Hall in New York City on Friday.

Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Nicole Scherzinger and Natasha Bedingfield are all decked out in their black Stand Up To Cancer t-shirts.

All three major TV networks, NBC, ABC and CBS will create a roadblock at 8pm EST on Friday to broadcast the event. Hosts include Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Sheryl Crow, Charles Barkley and Melissa Etheridge.

“For the first time we can envision the possibility of stopping cancer in its tracks,” the group said in its mission statement. “But just when science is on the verge of giving us the breakthroughs that can end cancer, the will and the funding to do so are disappearing from the national agenda and from our collective consciousness.”

Check out the new all-star charity single “Just Stand Up” as recorded by 15 of the most well-known singers in anticipation of the Sept. 5 “Stand Up for Cancer” telethon.

The track, produced by Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and L. A. Reid, starts off with solos by powerhouse singers Beyonce and Carrie Underwood. You’ll later hear Fergie, Leona Lewis and Mary J. Blige belt it out. Other vocalists include: Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow, Rihanna, Melissa Etheridge, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara and LeeAnn Rimes.

As Ciara came on stage, rain came pouring down in the background as visible text and images could be seen. ‘Ciara’ and ‘Take U Down’ could be seen amidst the rain coming down behind the performers.

Chris Brown, 19, was seated next to Rihanna and won the night’s first award, best male R&B artist. “I just love what I’m doing,” he said on the red carpet, “and I have fun doing it. I love being myself.”
