Check out this exclusive first look of Zac Efron in his upcoming drama, Me and Orson Welles.

”He’s falling for this older woman,” director Richard Linklater says of Zac’s character. ”She’s taking him for a bit of a ride.” She being Claire Danes, Zac’s object of affection in the film.

Zac plays a high school student in the 1930’s who stumbles across the Mercury Theatre and his acting potential is soon realized by the theatre’s founder Orson Welles. Claire plays a perky production assistant–some pictures of her on the set of Orson can be found here.

Me and Orson Welles debuts on Friday, Sept. 5 at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Claire Danes and British actor boyfriend Hugh Dancy continue working on their tan on Friday in Ischia, an Italian island in the bay of Naples. (Claire’s teeny weensy red bikini caused quite the stir earlier this week.)

Danes, 29, and Dancy, 33, are in town for the Ischia Global Film and Music Fest just like Terrence Howard, Rosario Dawson and her boyfriend Mathieu Schreyer.

Claire Danes slips into a teeny-tiny red bikini as she catch some rays outside Hotel Regina Isabella with and British boyfriend Hugh Dancy in Ischia, an Italian island in the bay of Naples.

Danes, 29, and Dancy, 33, are in town for the Ischia Global Film and Music Fest. Terrence Howard is also around for the Ischia Fest.

When not taking a dip in the pool, Hugh was seen reading “Blackwater: The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army” by Jeremy Scahill. The book details the rise of Blackwater USA, a private military company, and the growth of security contracting in Iraq and the War on Terror.

The day before, Danes and Dancy were spotting laughing and cuddling (pictured below) during the Sky Gala dinner party held at the Hotel Regina.

Claire Danes (in Gucci) and British actor boyfriend Hugh Dancy are all dressed up to the nines at MoMA’s 40th Annual “Party In The Garden” at the Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday in New York City.

The Party in the Garden Benefit Gala honored two great New Yorkers: the beloved MoMA Trustee and patron of the arts Donald B. Marron, and acclaimed multi-award-winning televison, stage, and film director, writer, and producer Mike Nichols. Proceeds benefited the Museum’s general operating fund, helping to make possible its award-winning educational programs.

Claire Danes and British actor boyfriend Hugh Dancy fly out of Douglas, Isle of Man for a romantic weekend together on Saturday.

Dancy flew to the Isle of Man to spend time with his leading lady, who’s shooting the period drama Me & Orson Welles with tween heartthrob Zac Efron.

The coming-of-age story centers around Zac’s character falling for an older woman - played by Danes.

Danes, 28, and Dancy, 32, can be seen enjoying a drink together and chatting with friends in a bar.

Claire Danes and Senator Bill Bradley announce national expansion plans for DonorsChoose.org at a NYC press conference held at The High School for Environmental Studies on Thursday. The pair announced that DonorsChoose.org will be rolling out to schools nationwide to fulfill classroom needs and foster innovation.

On Wednesday, Zac Efron delivered several boxes of donated school supplies to John Adams Middle School in Los Angeles for DonorsChoose.org.

Claire Danes and British boyfriend Hugh Dancy hold hands while taking a romantic stroll through SoHo on Friday afternoon.

Danes, 28, and Dancy, 32, left the gym together, then stopped in the Mercer Kitchen for a quick lunch before returning to Danes’s apartment.

Starting last month, Danes made her linguistically-challenging Broadway debut in the revival of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion starring as Eliza Doolittle. Her character is a Cockney flower girl who must pass off as a refined society lady by learning how to speak with an upper class accent and train in etiquette.
