Claire Danes falls flat in fashion (and hair amongst other things) at the Motion Picture Club’s 67th Annual Awards luncheon at the Marriot Marquis on Thursday in New York City. The collar of her Prada dress and bottom of her skirt look like… tie-dye.

Starting last month, Danes made her linguistically-challenging Broadway debut in the revival of George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion starring as Eliza Doolittle. Her character is a Cockney flower girl who must pass off as a refined society lady by learning how to speak with an upper class accent and train in etiquette.

Claire Danes, walks around SoHo in her exercise clothes, engaging in cell phone walk and talk after working up a sweat at the gym.

Danes‘ latest movie Stardust which is being released today, has opened up to mostly positive reviews. According to Entertainment Weekly, Stardust is about “the story of a man (Charlie Cox) who travels to a mystical land to catch a falling star for his fair lady (Sienna Miller). Unbeknownst to the besotted lad, the star has transformed into a lovely young lass (Claire Danes).”

Hugh Dancy and Claire were seen grabbing dinner in LA last Friday night.

Claire Danes and British beau Hugh Dancy grab a late dinner at one of LA’s best Italian restaurants, Locanda Veneta in West Hollywood, Calif. on Friday night.

Danes paired her blue satin minidress with metallic strappy peep-toe slingbacks by Christian Louboutin .

Her latest movie Stardust, a fantasy-adventure-love story opens in theaters on Friday, August 10. The film features a fantasy romp cast including Sienna Miller, Charlie Cox, Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Claire Danes dropped by the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and received a very special surprise.

Danes is apparently a huge Golden Girls and especially of Betty White. “I went as her for Halloween one year,” Danes pointed out.

Leno said, “So if you met Betty White what…”

Out walked Betty White, who presented Danes with a huge hug and the first 2 seasons of the Golden Girls on DVD. Danes went speechless!

Before Ms. White left, she gestured to Danes‘ legs and cracked, “I had a chance to have legs like that but I turned them down.” Danes, shocked, proceeded to repeatedly give the “I’m not worthy bow” à la Wayne’s World. Watch the video below!

Claire Danes paired her dangerously low in a black Azzaro by Vanessa Seward backless dress with Neil Lane diamonds at the Los Angeles premiere of Stardust on Sunday.

The Matthew Vaughn-directed fantasy film is based on the novella by Neil Gaiman. In the film, Danes play Yvaine, a star that transforms into a striking girl.

Claire Danes and British beau Hugh Dancy attend the opening of the exhibition ‘Valentino a Roma: 45 Years of Style’ at the Ara Pacis in Rome on Friday. With around 300 garments and rare archive material, the exhibition is a retrospective that will celebrate Valentino’s 45 years of creativity.

Claire, 28, and Hugh, 31, met on the set of Evening, which is out in theaters now.
