Former American Idol Clay Aiken makes a hilarious Valentine’s Day appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night, singing off phrases from pastel-colored candy hearts like “Love Me,” “Fax Me” and “You’re A Tiger!” ROAR!

Sweetheart Clay brought along a huge balloon heart for Jimmy for V-Day and a t-shirt with whowse face on it? Clay’s, of course! (Clay wore a t-shirt with Jimmy’s face on it to the show.)

Clay did show up with a new haircut and admitted to having some work done on his teeth. He pointed out his “blindingly white” teeth and said he had his top two front teeth fixed (they were slanted in before). Clay will also be doing UNICEF work in the near future…

Attention, Claymates! Wearing a Burberry bucket hat and a UConn hoodie sweatshirt, Clay Aiken leaves LAX airport on Morning evening with a copy of Rory Stewart’s “The Places In Between” in hand. The paperback is Stewart’s travel writing from his trek through Afghanistan a few months after the Taliban were deposed.

Not that I follow the storyline for Days of Our Lives but…here are a few stills of American Idol season two runner-up Clay Aiken’s guest appearance. Below, you’ll see Clay performing “Everything I Have” from his new album and his own rendition of “O, Holy Night,” as part of a private concert for Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) in the local Salem club called Dune. This episode will air Tuesday, Dec. 26 on NBC.

• John Mayer told Ryan Seacrest that he’s not dating Jessica Simpson, but that he’s “having a lot of fun in [his] life.”

• Steven Spielberg is said to be in hot pursuit of the movie rights to “Jersey Boys,” the musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Harvey Weinstein and Tom Hanks, as well as execs from Disney and Warner Bros. are interested too.
• Madonna: The Confessions Tour - Live From London will appear on NBC tonight at 8pm.
• At the premiere of his new film “Déjà Vu,” Denzel Washington said that of all the actresses he’d worked with, the hottest was, “Dakota [Fanning], by far she’s the hottest of the bunch!”

• TvTattle reports: Brad Pitt is one of the exec producers of “4 oz.,” the transsexual sportswriter drama that Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy is working on. “He gets me more money,” Murphy says of Pitt. “He’ll be very involved in everything.” Murphy adds that he named his show after a penis because it fascinates him “that something that weighs so little can cause so much damage and joy at the same time.” “that something that weighs so little can cause so much damage and joy at the same time.”

• Kevin Federline has been tapped again to be the face of Five Star Vintage clothing, company spokesmanKenneth Loo said Wednesday. The company chose K-fedagain because of his “renegade style,” Loo said, and because it nearly sold out of each outfit Federline modeled. His latest ads, showcasing the company’s holiday line, will begin appearing next month.
• Angelina Jolie is set to star as Dagney Taggart, the most powerful female character in the film adaptation of Ayn Rand’s iconic tome “Atlas Shrugged”.
• Madonna is expected to pull her concert from NBC because the network wants to cut her controversial crucifix scene. A spokeswoman for Madonna said yesterday she would issue a statement, perhaps as early as today, about the special. Noooooo, don’t back out Madonna!!!
• Barbara Walters has landed the first interview with Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin‘widow, Terri. Walters will do the interview in Australia and it will air on September. 27 as part of a special 20/20.
• Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Travolta are among 40 celebrities who have signed wooden “dog bones” for a charity auction benefiting the Mississippi Animal Rescue League. The celeb-signed bones will be auctioned off Thursday at the organization’s second annual Fur Ball event. Proceeds will go to constructing a new animal shelter, said Allison Nutt, a MARL board member and chairman of the Fur Ball event committee.
• Donny Osmond will play the role of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. The play is at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and his run lasts through November 19. Ewwww, I don’t want to see Donny’s hair chest!!!
• Cameron Diaz filed a police report yesterday, September 20th, accusing a photographer of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly driving his car at her and boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
