Principal photography will kick off tomorrow, May 3. The all-new HSM3 feature film will be shot on location in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is set for release in theaters October 24, 2008. High School Musical 3: Senior Year finds high school seniors Troy and Gabriella facing the prospect of separation as they head off to different colleges. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about the future. Zac Efron shows off his washboard abs in a shirtless moment on the set of High School Musical 3 at a top secret location in Utah on Friday.

Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens was not far behind showing off some leopard-print undergarment. Zac was also seen wearing a Wildcats (ROAR!) basketball uniform, carrying a Nordstrom shopping bag and a stick (presumably for stick ball).

Per usual, Zanessa was spotted holding hands. Everybody now… Awww!

Young Hollywood stars Rumer Willis, Kristin Cavallari, Christina Milian, Josie Maran, Pete Wentz, Corbin Bleu and Wilmer Valderrama team up for Wal-Mart’s newest ad campaign for the spring/summer launch of Op.

What time is it? Christmas time!

Vanessa Hudgens (in bebe) was at Disneyland on Saturday to film a Christmas segment for Disney.

Vanessa, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and other High School Musical stars performed a Christmas version of the hit song “What Time Is It?” from High School Musical 2.

The Disney special is scheduled to air Christmas morning on ABC during the Walt Disney World Christmas parade. But watch the preview video below!

And yes, Zac Efron was MIA.

On-screen and off-screen sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens chat up High School Musical 2 on Friday in New York City.

The matching red strings ‘n rings are back! And how cute is Vanessa???!!!

This segment will air on Monday and include High School co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Monique Coleman. Anne Hathaway will also be promoting Becoming Jane on Monday.

The original High School Musical which has been seen by more than 160 million viewers worldwide. The sequel, High School Musical 2, will premiere on The Disney Channel on August 17th!

The cast of High School Musical 2 — Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman — made a special appearance on Thursday’s taping of Good Morning America (Lucas Grabeel was MIA).

There’s an interview with the whole cast, a little song and dance, and a dance-along. GMA slyly had a video tape submission of little kids asking Zanessa how many boyfriends and girlfriends they have. Both Zac and Vanessa didn’t fall for it the bait and answered that they have “many.”

UPDATE: After being asked that question and right before the commercial break, Zac smiles, approaches Vanessa and holds up one finger. Could that symbolize one girlfriend, perhaps?? Wink, wink.

The Insider also has “footage” from the Hairspray premiere of Vanessa confirming that she’s dating Zac. You can watch it here but it seems bogus since you never actually SEE her say yes. It’s just good video editing. Yaknowwhatimean?
