Here’s the latest batch of promos for new TV drama, Dirt, which chronicles the life of Lucy Spiller (Courteney Cox), the ruthless, powerful editor-in-chief of the celebrity tabloid magazines DIRT AND NOW.

OF NOTE :: Rick Fox was once married to singer/actor Vanessa Williams. Grant Show played Jake Hanson on Melrose Place. And Carly Pope was on the same Air Canada flight with me from Vancouver back to NYC (JFK). We exchanged smiles at the luggage conveyor belt after the luggage started to arrive and I yelled “WOOHOO!”

• Mel Gibson appeared on the Leno yesterday and made light of his battle with booze, but never mentioned his DUI and anti-Semitic tirade. Mel nibbled on a cookie at the beginning of the interview and joked that the treat was a reward from someone backstage for staying sober. “He told me if I could walk a straight line, I could have a cookie,” he said.
• Courtney Cox thinks a Friends reunion may be in the works: “I’m just saying I’m not opposed to it. Jennifer (Aniston) said she’s not opposed to it. When we say ‘reunion’… do a little thanksgiving episode, sure…why not what are we all doing? It sounds fun.”
