The 14-year-old actress looked a little edgy with a cropped leather jacket and Balenciaga handbag. She finished off her look with skinny jeans, Tory Burch flats and a necklace with a peace-sign pendant. Her mom also toted around a Tory Burch handbag.

Dakota plays teenage psychic Cassie Holmes in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Push. The film, which will be released in February 2009, also stars Camilla Belle, Chris Evans, and Djimon Housou. More Here! »

Dakota Fanning spends the afternoon cheerleading her school team Vikings at The Campbell Hall Episcopal on Saturday in Studio City, Calif.

“I am a cheerleader,” the 14-year-old actress has said. “Now everybody always wants me to do cheers. It’s so funny… Cheerleading is so much fun, especially at your school because you get such a sense of school spirit and you’re proud of your school. I love that. I’m the one that’s on top of the (human) pyramid; I’m the flyer, so that’s fun too.”

Dakota Fanning arrives at the New York premiere of Hounddog at the Village East Cinemas in New York City on Tuesday.

The 14-year-old actress plays Lewellen, a young girl who grows up down South in the ’50s and worships Elvis Presley. Deborah Kampmeier directs the film and Robin Wright Penn makes an appearance in the film.

The film had its debut at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and hits theaters this weekend.

They escape to Tiburon, South Carolina - a town that holds the secret to her mother’s past. The film is based off the 2002 best selling novel of American author Sue Monk Kidd and will be released on Oct. 17.

All grown up!

Actress Dakota Fanning arrives at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual summer luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Wednesday in Beverly Hills.

The Charlotte’s Web actress is now 14 and enterting 10th grade! Dakota broke through at the age of 7 with her performance in I Am Sam. She also had an impressive performance in War of the Worlds where director Steven Spielberg praised her ability to show “how she would really react in a real situation.”

Dakota recently recalled receiving the award for Best Young Actor/Actress from the Broadcast Film Critics Association and needed Orlando Bloom to lift her up to the mic! Ms. Fanning told Pop Tarts, “I met him again later on the set of War of the Worlds and we talked and had a laugh about it. It was funny, but I’m actually a bit embarrassed thinking about it now.”

LIFE: Have the twins seen you on the screen at all?
ROBERTS: I think my son saw me on TV once for a split second and said “Mommy!” But when Hazel sees any mom figure in a book, she says “Mommy.”

LIFE: You’re both Georgia-born girls who knit. Are either of you knitting anything for Christmas?
ROBERTS: I’m currently knitting an orange sweater for myself.
FANNING: I’m really bad, because I haven’t even knit my sister [Elle, 8] a scarf.
ROBERTS: You should get on it. Get yourself some big needles. You know what’s fun is knitting a poncho.

Charlotte’s Web opened last weekend, racking in $11.45 million.
