Dancing With the Stars Archives

After ten weeks of entertaining drama, camaraderie and dazzling performances, figure-skating champ Kristi Yamaguchi and her professional partner Mark Ballas, were crowned champion of Dancing with the Stars.

“This is just the icing on the cake,” Kristi said after winning the mirrored disco ball. “I honestly thank all the fans out there … everyone who’s made this a dream experience.”

Kristi got a perfect score of 60 on Monday’s show and in combination with enough viewer votes, she was crowned the winner on Tuesday night.

The Jonas Brothers perform their hit song “When You Look Me In The Eyes” and a cover of the ’80s hit “Take On Me” on tonight’s results show of Dancing With The Stars. Watch the video below!

Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, also had some sad news to share via MySpace Bulletin:

“Hey everyone! We are excited for you to see our performance on Dancing with the Stars tonight on ABC.

ALSO… We have received some really sad news. Stephanie, one of our Street Team Leaders, passed away unexpectedly last night. We do not have details. She is a friend and faithful part of the JB family. She will be missed more than we can describe.

TONIGHT… we are dedicating our performance of When You Look Me in the Eyes in honor of Stephanie. We will see you in ETERNITY!”

R.I.P Stephanie. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.

The sixth season of Dancing with the Stars returns Monday, March 17th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

The 2007 Dancing with the Stars winner is Helio Castroneves and his partner Julianne Hough. This marks the second year that Hough has brought her partner to the top. Her winning partner from 2006 was Olympic Speedskater Apolo Ohno. Congrats!

This must be such a huge disappointment for The Spice Girls. Can’t win ‘em all, I guess!

Mel B. and Maksim Chmerkovskiy came in second. Marie Osmond and her partner Jonathan Roberts were eliminated within the first 15 minutes of the show.

Helio, 32, is one of the top North American race car drivers. He won the Indianapolis 500 in 2001 and 2002 and took second place in 2003.

Spice Girl Melanie Brown & partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the Rumba on Monday’s Dancing With The Stars.

Judge Bruno Tonioli said “That wasn’t a dance, it was a cliffhanger.”

Carrie Ann Inaba said “I was mesmerized.”

Len Goodman said “That routine was perfected, inspected, dissected, and as far as I’m concerned it won’t be rejected.”

Melanie and Maksim received a perfect score of 30 out of 30 points. Perfect 10s all around!

Jennifer Lopez performs a two-song set on Tuesday’s results show of Dancing With The Stars — her latest single “Do It Well” and oldie-but-goodie “Let’s Get Loud.”

Per usual, J.Lo wore huge, floaty tops to cover up that baby bump of hers!

Unfortunately, her career recently hit a new low after her new album Brave sold just 53,000 copies in its first week. Hopefully in a few months, Jennifer will be a new high in her life celebrating the birth of her new baby. Or babies!

“Scary Spice” Melanie Brown throws on her hot pink leg warms and hits the dance studio with parker Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is returning for his fourth season.

“Mel B.,” a.k.a. “Scary Spice,” is best known as a member of the Spice Girls, the hit British music group that put “girl power” on the map and took the world by storm in 1996. For the first time in six years, she reunites with her four bandmates to embark on a world tour this December. Brown is also a mother, entrepreneur and actress who starred in Rent as Mimi on Broadway, in The Vagina Monologues in London, and hosted the British TV series This is My Moment.

Dancing with the Stars returns with its fifth season on Monday, Sept. 24. @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Even though ratings are through the rood this season, I don’t follow Dancing With the Stars but it’s down to Joey Lawrence, Mario Lopez, and Emmitt Smith… and the cover looked hot, so enjoy it. This will be week 9 for Dancing with the Stars with a new episode airing tomorrow. Each of the three teams remaining will dance their favorite ballroom and Latin dance styles.
