Bond star Daniel Craig goes shirtless and scruffy in the inside photo spread of the July 2007 issue of Interview Magazine… but clean-shaven on the cover!

A sweating buckets (but clean-shaven!) Daniel Craig gets some fresh air outside on the porch of his ultra-posh hotel on Friday in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Bond movie star has been in town with girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for the past week (and will be for the coming month) to executive produce and star in Flashbacks of a Fool. He was also spotted shooting scenes for Fool at Bantry Bay on Tuesday.

Craig, 39, will play a pleasure-seeking actor whose Hollywood career starts to nosedive in his 40s. The death of his best friend from his English childhood causes him to journey back home for the funeral, and prompts flashbacks to his teenage experiences - including the tragedy that forced him to flee to the United States and a new life.

Super scruffy Daniel Craig, the latest incarnation of James Bond, arrives at Nice Airport on Sunday with girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell for the Cannes Film Festival in France.

Craig, 39, expected to wear a yellow ribbon in support of the missing British girl Madeleine McCann while promoting The Golden Compass (Nicole Kidman, Eric Bana).

The former 007 was also recently cast in Baillie Walsh’s Flashbacks of a Fool, a story of a hedonistic British actor whose Hollywood career begins to nosedive in his 40s. More Here! »

Sporting a newly shorn look, Bond star Daniel Craig steps out for some shopping on Bond Street in London on Thursday.

The 39-year-old Casino Royale star is expected to make an appearance at the upcoming 60th Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off in mid-May. Craig will be promoting The Golden Compass co-starring Nicole Kidman (see trailer here). The Cannes fest kicks off May 16.
