Zac Efron and Friday the 13th actress Danielle Panabaker grab lunch together at Hugo’s Restaurant in West Hollywood on Tuesday (February 24).

Zac and Danielle (both 21) starred in WB’s Summerland in 2004. Danielle’s younger sister Kay played Zac’s love interest on the show.

I ran into Danielle again at the Hollywood Life Oscar Viewing Party held at Mondrian Hotel’s Asia De Cuba restaurant on Sunday (February 22) in West Hollywood.

FYI: Danielle was not cast as Ariel in the remake of Footloose, which Zac will be headlining as Ren McCormack.

The 21-year-old actress currently stars in the film Friday the 13th. Danielle recently posed for a photo shoot in GQ and dished on filming the death scenes and also denied rumors she was dating actor James Woods..

“The deaths are terrifying,” she says. “The producers didn’t rely on special effects.” Wait. They really killed people?! “No, no,” she laughs. “They just used makeup. It was like being in the presence of the living dead.”

Friday the 13th starlet Danielle Panabaker goes over the river and through the woods for a super sexy GQ Magazine photo shoot.

Asked to describe the filming of her latest horror flick, the 21-year-old actress shared, “Through the Texas backwoods. In the dark. In a miniskirt.”

Danielle premiered Friday The 13th last week. The film was #1 at the box office this past weekend — it scared up a massive $42.2 million!

Jesse McCartney holds hands with new girlfriend, actress Danielle Panabaker, after partying at Foxtail nightclub on Tuesday in West Hollywood.

Earlier in the evening, Danielle hit the red carpet in a Moschino Cheap and Chic black spaghetti strap dress at the GQ Men of the Year party held at the Chateau Marmont Hotel. She finished off her polished look with Kwiat jewelry and Guiseppe Zanotti pumps. Danielle is best known for her roles in Shark, Mr. Brooks, and Sky High.

Jesse and Danielle’s (both 21) families must know each other well! Jesse starred on the TV series Summerland with Kay Panabaker, Danielle’s little sister (now 18).
