Celeb photographer Tyler Shields has compiled a year-end video featuring all of his shoots from 2011 and beyond.

“2011 was by far the most amazing year of chaos yet,” the 29-year-old shutterbug writes on his official site. “But it still is just a warm up for what’s to come, a lot of new people came into the family in 2011 and everyone stepped up their game quite a bit.” Check it out below!

James Franco‘s father Doug passed away at age 63 on Monday (September 26) in Palo Alto, Calif.

“He had a heart attack and died at the hospital shortly after he arrived there,” James‘s rep exclusively confirms to JustJared.com.

Doug Franco – a Silicon Valley Entrepreneur with a Harvard MBA – is survived by his wife Betsy and his three sons, James, Dave, and Tom.

A week after Doug‘s death, James‘s mother confirmed the untimely news.

“It is true that my sweet, generous husband passed away,” Betsy tweeted. “He gave so much to his three sons and me, and to many other people, too.”

Our deepest condolences go out to the Franco family and friends.

Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Dave Franco, and Anton Yelchin meet up at a screening for their new film, Fright Night, at the ArcLight Hollywood on Wednesday (August 17) in Hollywood.

The three actors star in the horror flick, which is a remake of the 1985 film of the same name, that centers around a teen (Yelchin) who suspects his new neighbor, Jerry, is a vampire (Colin Farrell).

Colin recently chatted with Para Todos about the vampire trend in Hollywood.

“I know why it gets made. People who were initially behind the notion of making this film weren’t doing it for artistic reasons and if they hire intelligently – which I think they did by hiring Craig Gillespie to direct the film – they get someone who has an astute knowledge of cinema and film,” he shared.

Colin Farrell is a super scary vampire in the latest set of stills from his next movie, Fright Night.

Fright Night is about a teenager who suspects that his new neighbor (Farrell) is a vampire.

The film also stars Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and David Tennant.

The horror movie, which is a remake of a 1985 movie of the same title, is set to be released on August 19.

Dave Franco has just landed the villain role in the upcoming flick 21 Jump Street, according to Deadline.

The 25-year-old actor will play “Eric, the most popular kid in school, who also happens to be a raging drug dealer. Jonah Hill‘s narc character befriends him to infiltrate the cool kid crowd.”

21 Jump Street is based off the popular television series about youthful-looking undercover police officers investigating crimes in high schools, colleges, and other teenage venues.

Johnny Depp, who launched his career on the TV show, is rumored to have a cameo appearance in the film!

Check out the super video for the new single “Go Outside” from indie pop upstarts Cult.

It was directed by Patrick Hoelck and features Dave Franco and Emma Roberts.

The band is signed to In The Name Of, the label run by British singing sensation Lily Allen.

FYI: Super videos are like mini-movies featuring actors. Dave is the younger brother of James Franco and Emma is the niece of Julia Roberts.
