Before he quits European soccer for the United States, David Beckham bids an emotional farewall to fans during a a celebration soccer match between Manchester United and an Europe XI on Tuesday in Manchester, England.

This marked the 50th anniversary of Manchester United’s participation in European soccer.

Said Beckham to the 74,000-sellout crowd, “The time I spent at this club was the best time in my whole football career.”

In July, Becks is to start a five-year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

In house hunting news, The Beckhams reportedly put an offer in to purchase Meg Ryan’s Bel Air mansion.

The 31-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy-bound midfielder tore ligaments in his knee during Real Madrid’s Sunday game. But he’s the hottest man alive walking with a cane to date, right?

The David Beckham Academy will officially kick off its 2007 season later this month on March 30.

David Beckham gives a look of extreme pain as he limps off into the dug-out after getting injuring his right knee on Sunday. Becks was playing during the Primera Liga match between Real Madrid and Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, Spain. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Extensive testing will be conducted on Monday to determine the extent of Becks‘ right-knee injury. But really, he should really just be more careful. His legs are worth millions! Essentially $125 million each, to be exact. So, Becks, take better care of your knees or I’ll send Tonya Harding to take care of them for you!

UPDATE :: Becks had his check-up and will be sitting on the sidelines for six weeks. But don’t worry folks, it won’t intefere with the Beckhams move to Los Angeles!

LAME! I’m rather disappointed in Details Magazine. They’re reusing the same photoshoot they used of David Beckham from their August 2005 issue for their upcoming March 2007 issue. Jeers to Details for re-covering Becks! Let’s get some new photographs of Mr. Golden Balls!

The Beckhams are still homeless, according to The Los Angeles Times. David and Victoria are struggling to find a suitable mansion in L.A. after they (mostly Victoria) reportedly looked at more than 20 homes in the $18 million to $30 million range.

The Beckhams are looking for a home for less than $20 million and needs little to no renovation. Well, with only a $250 million paycheck from The Los Angeles Galaxy, you’ve gotta stay within budget, y’know?

Victoria Beckham takes her two eldest sons, Brooklyn, 7, and Romeo, 4, to Disneyland on Friday afternoon flanked by a security team and Disney staffers.

Apparently, the paparazzi got too close for comfort, and Romeo broke out into tears. So much for being the “Happiest Place on Earth!” Poor, lil’ Romeo…

And don’t you love how protective Brooklyn is of his mother? He looks like he’s about to hurl his cotton candy at the paparazzi!

And this cracks me up — Posh Spice waiting on line for a Minute Maid icy. Even the Beckhams can’t resist soft frozen lemonade!

You can watch the video of the Beckhams at Disneyland. You hear a naive little girl say “Why is everybody taking pictures?” Ha ha ha. You also hear Brooklyn yelling at the paparazzi, “BACK OFF! COME ON, GUYS!”

David and Victoria Beckham spend a little alone time together in the South of France on Monday night. (Apart from the paparazzi catching them at Nice airport, that is.) Becks and Vix own a house in a small village on the outskirts of Nice but will probably stay at Elton John’s villa on their little getaway.
