David Cook visits Fuse’s No. 1 Countdown at Fuse Studios on Thursday (June 25) in New York City.

The 26-year-old American Idol winner just scored his 3rd Top 10 Single on Adult Radio. His introductory single, “Time of My Life,” reached No. 7, its follow-up, “Light On,” peaked at No. 4., and his latest single “Come Back to Me” moved into No. 10 this week. Cook announced plans to extend his first ever solo tour, “The Declaration Tour – 2009,” through October 2009.

New photos have surfaced of American Idol champ David Cook getting a little intimate with scene queen Lana Jade.

A JJ reader says the pair was spotted gazing into each other’s eyes after his Towson, Maryland show on April 3rd. Lana also met up with David at the Borgata March 31st show in Atlantic City and at his May 30th Virginia Beach show.

Before Lana, David was romantically linked to fellow Idol alum Kimberly Caldwell.

American Idol champ David Cook’s older brother Adam has passed away after an 11-year battle with brain cancer.

David announced the sad news about his 36-year-old brother on Sunday at the Race for Hope 5K fund-raising race in Washington D.C.

“Like everybody here, I’m affected by this disease,” he told the crowd at the event, which raised money to support finding a cure for brain cancer. “I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now. I lost one today, but I gained 9,000, and I will be here every year that they will have me.”

Last season’s American Idol winner David Cook is teaming up with AT&T to debut a sneak peek of his highly-anticipated new music video, “Come Back To Me,” during a commercial break of American Idol TOMORROW (April 1) @ 8PM ET/PT on FOX. Afterwards:

American Idol champ David Cook opens up to Life & Style about fan gifts, kissing for work, and all the great opportunities he’s had. Here’s what the 26-year-old shared:

On celebrating the success of his self-titled new album, which has sold more than 1 million copies: “It’s been nuts. I’ve gotten to do some amazing things, like perform for the troops in the Middle East and throw out the first pitch at a Kansas City Royals baseball game.”

On being amused by some of the gifts he receives from fans, like a cooler filled with ice and QuikTrip Taquitos, his favorite food: “[I tried to ship it to his home in Tulsa, Okla.,] but by the time it got there, it was just a box of moldy food. I got a phone call from my mom asking, ‘What’s wrong with you?’”

On filming the video for his single “Come Back To Me”: “I had a kissing scene. You watch stuff growing up, and I always thought I couldn’t imagine how uncomfortable that would be. Now I know! [Disturbia's Sarah Roemer] knew what she was doing. I kept apologizing the whole time.”

In a new blog entry titled “ATTENTION,” American Idol champ David Cook issued a plea for his privacy while on tour. He writes on his MySpace Celebrity:

“First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been coming out to the shows since my last post. The vibe at these shows has been amazing.

“Secondly, I have to address some behavior that has become disturbing. We pride ourselves on being accessible to you as fans, but in contrast, we do enjoy what little privacy we can muster. To that end, the efforts by some fans to find our hotel rooms, call our hotel rooms, attach things to our bus, etc., is something I have to condemn. This relationship only works when it remains healthy for both parties, and should this behavior continue, the only thing we can do is take more preventative measures to maintain our privacy, which in turn makes us less accessible to you.

“I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh. I merely want to nip this in the bud so we can continue to have a great experience with all of you at the shows we have coming up. Take care and see you at the next show. ~D”

David Cook readies himself for his first on-screen kiss with actress Sarah Roemer while filming his new music video “Come Back To Me” at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 5).

The vid is being directed by Gavin Bowden, who has worked with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jason Mraz and Lifehouse.

“Come Back To Me” hits radio next month and is the follow up single to “Light On” off Cook’s self-titled album.

Roemer starred as the love interest of Shia LaBeouf’s character in 2007’s thriller, Disturbia.
