Tea Leoni: Billy Bob Thorton is “My New Favorite Person In The World”
Tea Leoni joins Sharon Stone and Jane Fonda on the November 2008 cover of More’s “Breaking the Age Barrier” issue, on newsstands October 28th.
Tea, who split with husband David Duchovny a few months ago, reportedly broke up her marriage because she had an illicit affair with Billy Bob Thorton. (Lea supposedly had “explicit text messages” on her cell phone from Billy Bob.) Here’s what Tea told More:
About her upcoming flick, Manure: “I’m basically made to look like Tippi Hedren. Hitchcock blonde is what we’re going for. The entire movie is brown. Everything. The sets, the props, the wardrobe, the cars. And I’m the only thing in cream. It’s funny, it’s a very simple thread but at the same time it’s all about our relationship to s—. Our own, others’, selling it, making it, smelling it, being offended by it, reveling in it, getting hit with it when it hits the fan. But at the same time, we have this incredible cast with Billy Bob Thornton, who is maybe my new favorite person in the world.”
About being thrilled not to be cast as “the chick of the flick”: “That’s where your skirts are up to here and you’re blissfully 20 years younger than your co-star – and that would be his bliss and not necessarily my own. It simply becomes a different movie if you’re 10 years older.”
About paparazzi events: “The red carpet makes me feel like a bulls— artist. I don’t hang with anybody who stalks press.”
About aging gracefully: “My mom bites life in the ass. Aging gracefully to me isn’t about accepting it or doing only a bit of Botox. I think it’s a spark – a way of being.”

David Duchovny & Tea Leoni Split
David Duchovny and actress wife Téa Leoni have been separated for some time.
“In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months,” their publicists tell People in a statement. “The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”
Duchovny, 48, recently left rehab for sex addiction. He has been married to Téa since 1997. They have two children, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6.

David Duchovny Enters Rehab For Sex Addiction
THE SEX-FILES
Californication star David Duchovny is currently at a rehabilitation center for sex addiction.
“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the former X-Files star’s lawyer Stanton “Larry” Stein tells People. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”
Duchovny, 48, has been married to actress Téa Leoni for over 10 years and have two children together–daughter Madelaine, 9, and son Kyd, 6.
The Californication premiere of season two is set for September 28, 2008. Duchovny plays womanizing writer Hank Moody on the Showtime series.
Back in May, Best Life reported, “There was the time [Duchovny] confessed to a reporter about his fascination with hotel porn (’I like to watch other people —k’ was the exact quote) and rumors swirled that he was a sex addict.”

Peep the first movie still from the new X-Files movie!
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the Untitled X-Files Sequel, which has a tentative release date of July 25th.
If you never got into the series (myself included), this is your chance!
“There’s a whole audience I want to introduce X-Files to,” says Chris Carter, creator of the series and director of the new movie. “There were kids who couldn’t watch it on TV because it was too scary. Now they’re in college. I wanted a movie that everyone could go to.”

David Duchovny Drops His Pants
David Duchovny is caught with his pants down at Venice Beach on Tuesday.
Best known for his role as FBI agent Fox Mulder in X-Files, Duchovny, 46, shot a promotional ad campaign for his upcoming Showtime series Californication. David left little to the imagination as he stood proudly in his boxer shorts next to a beat-up Porsche 911!
“I wanted to have you rooting for a guy you shouldn’t be rooting for,” Duchovny has said of his troubled, lovable writer character. “The guy who’s drinking and falling into bed with women and sleeping all day is really the guy who’s taking care of the family.”
Californication, a 12-episode comedy with plenty of nudity, is set to air in August.
