Jennifer Hudson shows off pictures of her adorable son, David Otunga, Jr., on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday (November 30).

The 28-year-old singer and Academy Award winner spoke to Oprah about her plans for Christmas with fiance David and son David Jr.

“I’m going to go crazy,” Jennifer shared. “He’s very aware but he’s so young and it’s his first Christmas, so you have to go all-out.’

“I kind of want to get him his own Santa Claus and just have like a toy store in the house, full of things.”

Later in the show, Jen performed “Silent Night” with country duo Sugarland.

“I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy,” the 28-year-old songstress tells People. “Who better to devote my time to than my own child?”

When asked if it was hard to keep her pregnancy under wraps, Jennifer shared, “David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant, it was so easy. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings either. I just thought, ‘Oh, well, we’ll wait until it’ll tell on itself.’ I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy right there.”

It’s a son for Jennifer Hudson!

The 27-year-old Oscar winner her and fiance, reality TV star David Otunga, welcomed son David Daniel Otunga, Jr. on Monday (August 10). THR reports the baby weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was named after his father and her fiancee.

A baby shower was thrown for Jennifer Hudson on Saturday (May 30) at a relative’s home in downtown Chicago, reports Chicago Tribune.

Jennifer’s singer/actress pal Felicia Fields, reveals, “It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family. They’re really trying to keep it kind of quiet. It was a nice time that we had. They don’t know [the gender]. More yellow.”

Also in town was her fiance, former reality TV star David Otunga, who’s currently pursuing a pro wrestling career.

Jennifer Hudson performs her hit songs “Spotlight” and “If This Isn’t Love” on the Today Show at NYC’s Rockefeller Center on Friday (May 15).

Last October, the 27-year-old singer’s brother-in-law William Balfour allegedly shot Jennifer’s mother, Darnell Donerson; her brother Jason Hudson; and her 7-year-old nephew, Julian King.

“In this time when things seem so uncertain for her, there is certainty in our bond,” her fiance David Otunga told Essence. “She doesn’t have to worry about losing me. I’m always going to be right here.”

“The thing that keeps me going is knowing that God is in control,” Jennifer says. “It’s like, if he placed me here, then I must be prepared.”

Jennifer Hudson puts on a brave face as she gets in a workout with fiance David Otunga in Florida on Saturday (January 17).

The 27-year-old former American Idol contestant will deliver the National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, then sing at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala Feb. 6 and at the Grammys two days later.

These will be the first performances of Jennifer since the brutal murders of her mother, brother and nephew.

“So much has happened, but she’s ready,” a source tells People. “It’s a new year, she’s excited about performing again. She knew it was time. Fans can expect the Jennifer they’ve come to love. She just really loves to perform; it’s who she is, it’s what she does. I just admire her strength. Not many people could go through all that’s happened and shown the strength she has.”

Former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson is engaged to David Otunga, aka Punk!

“I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A.” her rep tells People.

Otunga, who tried to win Tiffany Pollard’s heart on a VH1 reality show (I Love New York 2), popped the question with a Neil Lane diamond ring on the Dreamgirls Oscar winner’s 27th birthday.
