Dean Cain is a Zombie

I miss the long forgotten Lois & Clark too much not to post this. After starring in one hokey TV movie after another, Dean Cain will star in yet another. He must be doing something right to keep making them, right?

This time Dean Cain will star in Dead & Deader, which will air on Saturday, Dec. 16 @ @ 9-11PM ET/PT on SCI Fi Channel. Dean Cain will play the role of of Lt. Bobby Quinn, who survives the infection after being bitten by a beetle carrying a zombie virus. Dean’s character becomes only half zombie (oh, brother!) and returns to the US where he finds himself fighting his former comrades in arms, all of whom are turning into zombies! Zombies! Help! Influenza Kills, Dean & Kristi Save

Dean Cain and Olympic Gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi (1992 Winter Olympics in the Women’s Figure Skating) helped the American Lung Association launch the Faces of Influenza Initiative yesterday, September 19 at the The W Hotel Union Square in New York City. Dean, 40, and Kristin, 35, joined this multi-year national public awareness initiative to help Americans put a “face” on influenza and show firsthand the seriousness of this potentially deadly infectious disease.

Other celebrities involved in the Faces of Influenza initiative are: 24’s Jean Smart, The View’s Joy Behar, and The O.C.’s Peter Gallagher. “We live in a world where people tend to take risks,” said Smart. “But influenza does not have to be one of those risks. Take influenza seriously and help prevent it through vaccination. I do, and I hope others will get serious about vaccination for themselves, their families and others they care about.”

Apocalypse 10.5

The birth of a baby girl for Tom and Katie can only mean one thing.  That’s right, the Apocalypse.  And what better timing for NBC to air Apocalypse 10.5, an earthquake mini-series, starring Kim Delaney (NYPD Blue, CSI: Miami), Beau Bridges, David Cubitt, Frank Langella (Superman Returns), Carlos Bernard (24), Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon (NYPD Blue), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark), Oliver Hudson (The Mountain), Tamara Hope, Carly Pope (Popular), Melissa Sue Anderson and Barbara Eve Harris. Apocalypse 10.5 is about the deadly seismic activities that peaked with a 10.5 earthquake and devastated the west coast in the first miniseries resume to jeopardize North America, causing catastrophic events. In a desperate bid to save lives - and the country - President Hollister (Bridges) calls upon one of the nation’s top seismologists, controversial scientist Dr. Samantha Hill (Delaney), to interpret the latest onslaught of quakes. Hill has a new theory based on her father’s (Langella) much-discredited hypothesis from years past that if correct, predicts even greater ruin. Apocalypse 10.5 airs this Sunday and Tuesday, May 21 and 23 on NBC (9-11 p.m. ET).  More pictures in the gallery!
