Dean, previously married to Mary Jo Eustace, recently wrote a book called “Divorce Sucks.” In the book she reveals that a producer approached her to appear on the reality show Tori and Dean, and cause as much controversy as she could the NY Daily News reports.

Eustace reportedly thought about how she would fit into the show, possibly moving in next door and make Dean’s life a living hell.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott enjoy dinner with their children at Tra Di Noi Restraunt and a visit to the park at Cross Creek in Malibu, Calif. on Wednesday (August 19).

The 36-year-old 90210 actress was a co-host for the Today Show last month, that helped her realize she may be interested in having her own talk show. “I would like to, if they would have me back,” Tori says. “I definitely like the format of the talk show, so I’d definitely love to do something like that in the future.”

Co-host Kathie Lee Gifford gave her some words of advice on the set. “Oh my gosh, she just said ‘be yourself, go for it,’” Tori told OK!. “That was her thing. Don’t hold back. I remember the first day, I was a little nervous, and I thought ‘OK, it’s Kathie Lee, she’s like an icon, she’s been doing this forever, I have to be so respectful.’ And then she was busting my balls, and I thought ‘oh, I can’t fire back.’ Then, we went to lunch that day and we completely bonded. We had the total two-hour girlfriend lunch, and the next day I came back firing at her. I just felt like I could do that. We were on the same level. And we had bonded – we were girlfriends. It’s so nice to have that compatibility, and we just totally clicked.”

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott take their kids Liam and Stella to play at Malibu beach on Sunday (August 16).

The 35-year-old actress recently opened up about her relationship with her estranged mother Candy Spelling. “I definitely want to reconcile with my mother, but that’s the wrong word,” Tori confessed to OK!. “There’s nothing that really happened that made us fight. It’s just time, distance and media that have come between my mom and me.”

“I am proud of my kids, but I also want to make my mom proud of me. I’m still a momma’s girl at the heart of the situation,” Tori said. “I look forward to the relationship that Liam and Stella will have with their grandmother one day and I’m confident that it will happen.”

Every anniversary, Dean buys Tori a new wedding ring, and most recently bought her a Neil Lane ring. “I love the tradition Dean has started,” Tori said. “Every year when he slips it on my ring finger, it reminds me of the day he made me his wife and we started our amazing journey together as one.”

“I can’t wait to one day pass on my amazing wedding band collection to my kids and their kids,” Tori told People.

Tori Spelling and Stella Doreen continue the book tour with a book signing of “Mommywood” held at The Grove on Monday (April 20) in Los Angeles, Calif.

The 35-year-old mother-of-two recently talked to Hannity about her new book and growing up in the spotlight. “People always say to me — I started 90210 when I was 16. And I had every opportunity — money, fame, you know — to go down the wrong path,” Tori said.

“And people say, ‘Why didn’t it happen to you?’ You know, why didn’t you go the wrong way?’ And I simply say, ‘Because I had my eye on the prize.’” Tori continued. “I was given a very fortunate opportunity, and I wasn’t going to screw it up. I wanted to be an actor.”

The 35-year-old actress’ mom, Candy Spelling recently wrote an open letter to her saying, “You haven’t responded to my emails, phone calls and text messages. You say you look at my Web site, so I’m trying to reach you that way. I want to see you and your family — in private, like the ‘normal family’ you say always wanted.

“I didn’t see it but she can call me, she can e-mail me,” Tori told ET about her mother’s letter. “She has all my numbers she knows exactly where I am. So if she’d like to reach out she’s more than welcome to, to see the kids.”
