Deanna Hummell, who reportedly had an affair with Jon & Kate Plus Eight father Jon Gosselin, is spotted out and about on Wednesday (May 13) in Reading, Penn. Jon was spotted out and about separately on the same day, polishing off a bag of potato chips.

Deanna, a 23-year-old third grade school teacher, has said that the person accusing her of the affair (her brother and former roommate Jason) has been lying to tabloids about her relationship with Jon.

Deanna has said, “My brother is making this all up. He has no credibility … I can’t even stomach the lies he’s saying about me. My brother is very shady. He has no job. He has a criminal background. He was charged for drug distribution.”

Meanwhile, Jason has been raking in the money with interviews with magazines and photo shoots featuring himself.

The 23-year-old third grade school teacher tells People, “My brother is making this all up. He has no credibility … I can’t even stomach the lies he’s saying about me. My brother is very shady. He has no job. He has a criminal background. He was charged for drug distribution. He’s on probation right now… I’m so hurt that he put my occupation out there. He has put my job in jeopardy. I can’t take my kids to recess without worrying that people will come up and harass me and the other teachers. It’s not fair.”

Deanna claims that her brother is seeking revenge for asking him to move out: “He wanted to get back at me … he knows he’s getting kicked out of the house.”

The new issue of Us Weekly is confirming that Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad Jon Gosselin, 32, has been having an affair with third grade school teacher Deanna Hummel, 23.

Deanna’s older brother (and roommate) Jason, says of Deanna, “She’s a nice girl, not a homewrecker. He is a bad liar. This isn’t healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air.”

Pictures have surfaced of a bikini-clad Deanna sunbathing on the Gosselin front lawn on April 26 while Jon’s wife Kate was traveling.

Deanna’s brother continues, “A lot of the time, it was pretty, um, gross listening to her, you know, um — how do I say this? The walls are thin. Let’s just say that. I mean, no one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who’s, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife. Ick. Nast.”
