The last two minutes from Sunday’s season finale of Desperate Housewives flashed ahead five years, bringing about many changes on Wisteria Lane. Here’s a quick recap:

– Model-turned-mommy Gabby (Eva Longoria) appears to be raising two daughters. Juanita and Celia were seen playing with Gabby’s makeup and clothes.

– Bree (Marcia Cross) has a cookbook coming out and her son seems to be her agent. She and husband Orson are still together.

– Lynette (Felicity Huffman) is dealing with her juvenile delinquent sons.

– Katherine’s (Dana Delany) daughter Dylan is getting married.

– Susan (Teri Hatcher) has a new man in her life, played by Gale Harold.

Also, USA Today asked Eva Longoria about Kaila Say and Daniella Baltodano, who play Gabby and Carlos’ daughters.

She said, “They are adorable. But I’m not excited about working with children because I’m a really fast shooter. I like to get in and get out and go home to my husband, and children tend to slow that process down. But I am excited about the comedic opportunities.” Yikes!

Welcome to Wisteria Lane, b—-!

Former O.C. bad boy Chris Carmack has been cast in Desperate Housewives, reports TV Guide.

Carmack will play Susan’s (Teri Hatcher) hunky cousin Tim, who winds up helping Mike (James Denton) with his taxes.

A teenaged version of Tim for the purposes of a flashback, has also been cast because Tim witnessed a tragic event, presumably involving Susan.

Another redhead moves into Wisteria Lane!

Here is your sneak peek of Dana Delany as one of the new Desperate Housewives. She’ll play Katherine, a conservative Republican with an all-American wholesomeness and a mastery of passive aggressiveness.

Dana, now 51, originally read for the role of Bree back in the day but turned down creator Marc Cherry three times. BIG MISTAKE! Hopefully Dana will get her chance at making a breakthrough comeback…

Firefly’s Nathan Fillion will play the strapping, tight-pants-wearing younger husband of Delany’s character. Lyndsy Fonseca (How I Met Your Mother) will play the new couple’s hell-raising daughter.

The Season 4 Premiere episode “Now You Know” of Desperate Housewives airs on Sunday, Sept. 30 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

One Life to Live actor Tuc Watkins and ex-Judging Amy star Kevin Rahm have been cast as Desperate Housewives first gay couple!

According to TVGuide, “Watkins will play Bob, described as a country mouse who leaves the big city for greener (and quieter) pastures. Rahm is his bitchy partner, Lee. Both roles are of the recurring variety. The characters’ names are a tribute to ABC News’ Bob Woodruff and his wife Lee, whom series creator Marc Cherry befriended last spring.”

The Desperate Housewives season premiere airs Sunday, Sept. 30@ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

Felicity Huffman hosts a bridal shower at her Hollywood Hills home for Eva Longoria. Guests including Desperate Housewives stars Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, and Nicolette Sheridan.

Unmarried guests participated in a toilet paper wedding dress competition. Teri picked up top prize as judged by Eva!

Eva is all set for her 7-7-’07 nuptials in France with fiance basketball star Tony Parker.

Marcia Cross takes this week’s cover of People with her 7-week-old twins Eden Mahoney and Savannah Mahoney. The 45-year-old Desperate Housewives star admits to breastfeeding the twins simultaneously!

On getting used to a new routine: “I feed, I burp, I change diapers, I pump.”

On getting to know her girls: “Savannah kicked all the time, and Eden was really quiet. Now Eden’s the feisty one and Savannah’s a little more Zen.”

On motherhood: “I wanted to be a member of that club so badly, and now I’m in and it’s so much better than I even imagined. Even before I was 30 I started thinking about (it).”

Desperate Housewives stars get busy!

Marcia Cross, 45, spent Sunday afternoon with gal pals on trendy Montana Ave. in Santa Monica. They drop by Peet’s Coffee and then treat themselves to mani-pedis.

Marcia later stopped off at Whole Foods Market to pick up flowers and groceries. She and her husband, Tom Mahoney, are the proud parents of 6-weeks-old fraternal twins daughters, Eden and Savannah.

On the other side of the world, Eva Longoria, 32, picked up an award during the Laureus Sports Awards at the Palau Sant Jordi on Monday in Barcelona, Spain. She wore a Carmen Marc Valvo dress and gems from H. Stern.

Eva and French rapper fiance Tony Parker are reportedly getting married in Paris on 07.07.07, the “luckiest” day to get married.

A new episode of Desperate Housewives (”Dress Big”) will air next Sunday, April 8 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC.
