The most enjoyable American Idol performance of the night from the Top 12 was Jordan Sparks’ rendition of Diana Ross’s “If We Hold on Together.”
Jordin, 17, did an outstanding job and it was her best performance to date on American Idol! She may not have had the best vocal but she was still better than everyone else who isn’t named Melinda or Lakisha.
Here’s what the judges had to say about Jordin’s performance:
- Randy Jackson said, “Tonight with that, you just made it a three girl race (with Lakiska Jones and Melinda Doolittle).”
- Paula Abdul said, “You drew me in right away.”
- Simon Cowell said, “I thought it was a very, very good vocal.”
