Dina Lohan shares some advice with Miley Cyrus‘ mom Tish on Tuesday in New York City amidst the Vanity Fair photo scandal.

Lindsay’s mom was presented with an award for being one of the Top 20 Moms in Long Island by the ‘Mingling Moms’ of Long Island. (Pictured below)

“I don’t know Miley’s mom, but stay strong. Stay strong, keep your head up.” Dina tells MomLogic.com at the Mingling Moms Awards.

Dina called Miley talented and added that Tish should always remember to be her mom first.

Lindsay Lohan does what every other American does the day after Thanksgiving, she goes Black Friday shopping! La Lohan, 21, brought along her mom Dina and little sister Ali to the Armani Exchange store on 5th Avenue. The Lohan women picked up free duds including head scarves, sweaters and beanies.

Linds spent Thanksgiving with her family at their Long Island home.

Late Sunday night, Dina dropped off Lindsay and snowboarder boyfriend Riley Giles at New York’s JFK airport to catch a flight back to Los Angeles.

And is it just me or is Lindsay overdoing it a bit at the tanning salon? Her face is getting just a little too orange!

Lindsay Lohan leaves her Long Island home and spends time in New York City with her family over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Lindsay, 21, dined at at Nick deangelo’s in Merrick, Long Island, accompanied by mom Dina, little brother Cody and snowboarder boyfriend Riley Giles.

“Lindsay is home [for the holidays],” Dina told Life & Style recently. “And my son Michael is home from college. We all have so much to be thankful for!”

Dina even wished readers: “Happy Thanksgiving!”

Ex-rehab-er Lindsay Lohan says a special goodbye to her father, Michael Lohan, and his yet-to-be-identified girlfriend in Sundance, Utah on Friday afternoon. Earlier in the day, Mr. Lohan and his special somebody stayed took Lindsay to have breakfast at the local diner, Jim’s Family Restaurant.

On Friday, it was reported that Lindsay checked out of rehab at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center. “She’s finished the program,” one source told People. “Lindsay is done, but she may come back for outpatient treatment. She over-extended her stay because she wanted to. She could have been out awhile ago, but she chose to stay.”

Mom Dina added: “I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.”

Dad Michael also added: “I will be there in her life as best I can but from here on she’s going to have a lot of decisions to make on her own. Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best.”

Lindsay Lohan rings in her 21st birthday like a good girl — with close friends and family at a beach house party in Malibu on Monday. Her Las Vegas plans may have been dashed but that didn’t stop the now-legal singer-actress from partying at Courteney Cox’s Malibu home!

Lindsay, who left the Promises Rehab Center for her birthday bash, was seen in a skimpy nautical bikini by L Space and killer Miu Miu wedge heels.

She snapped photos with a digital camera and an SLR with telephoto lens. paparazzi.

Celebrity siblings Aliana Lohan and Dakota Lohan, aka Ali and Cody, soak up the sunshine with a family vacation in Miami with mom Dina over Easter weekend.

Ali sported a sheer Chanel beach cover up and Louis Vuitton cap. Noticably missing was big sis Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay is probably on her way to Japan to spend 10 days shooting the fall advertising campaign for designer Jill Stuart, which is being shot by longtime Stuart shutterbug Mario Sorrenti.

From there, she will head over to London to shoot the period drama The Best Time of Our Lives, out in 2008.

The Best Time of Our Lives tells the story of two feisty, free-spirited women (Lohan and Keira Knightley) who are connected by the brilliant, charismatic poet (Matthew Rhys of Brothers & Sisters) who loves them both. Cillian Murphy plays Keira’s husband.
