Plane crash survivor DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, has taken to his blog to clear up some rumors about the lawsuit he filed earlier this month. Here’s what the 35-year-old had to write:

“Normally I don’t feel like I NEED to make a statement like this, but after I read some recently reported untruths I feel like I have to. I want to take a second to address the hurtful posts and clear up any misunderstandings any of you may have about my law suit. I would NEVER sue the deceased pilots’ estates or personal holdings. I am more than grateful that I survived this horrible accident and I’d never try to take anything from those that didn’t. Despite the misinterpretations of the lawsuit, this suit is against the insurance companies that insured the pilots. I’m not after Sarah [Lemmon]’s or James [Bland]‘ personal estates nor their property. Everyone involved in this suit has suffered a great deal, and I would not do anything to make matters worse for the deceased family and friends. Daily I live with the guilt and grief of what happened that night, what I saw, who was lost and why I was spared. I have no words to express the pain that comes with knowing four people died, while I lived.”

“He really likes her and wants to start introducing her to more of his friends,” a friend of the celebrity deejay told The Post.

Earlier today, it was announced that DJ AM sued several companies and the estates of the plane’s pilots.

DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, filed a lawsuit on Tuesday over the fatal plane crash that killed four people and seriously injured him and Travis Barker in September.

The suit claims the plane negligently aborted takeoff in South Carolina, causing the plane to overrun the runway and crash into an embankment.

“The pilots were either poorly trained and/or failed to follow their training,” says the L.A. Superior Court lawsuit of pilots Sarah Lemmon, 31, and James Bland, 52, both killed in the crash. “Rather than proceed to takeoff, they decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff in a negligent manner.”

Travis and DJ AM are set to perform together at New Year’s Nation’s Los Angeles New Year’s Eve Party at the Lot in West Hollywood.

Plane crash survivor DJ AM provided the tunes and P.I.N.K. Vodka did the specialty cocktails as Paris partied with her boyfriend, Good Charlotte musician Benji Madden, and her younger sister, Nicky (with boyfriend David Katzenberg). Also in attendance: Speed Racer star Emile Hirsch and “I Wanna Be Bad” singer Willa Ford.

Mandy Moore and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein are “back on”, reports Us Weekly.

The pair has grown closer since Moore rushed to support DJ A.M. during his recovery from the tragic September 19 plane crash that left him and Travis Barker injured and killed four others.

An insider said: “Since the accident, it’s blossomed into something again. Mandy said, ‘I like this guy a lot and I want to see where it can go again. Life is too short to not be with someone you really care about.’”

The pair haven’t been hiding their new relationship either. At the Friendly House event in Beverly Hills on October 18, a witness said: “He was holding her hand, and they were rubbing each other’s backs.”

Here is your first glimpse of DJ AM since the fatal plane crash.

The 35-year-old, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, stepped out to attend a memorial service for Travis Barker’s assistant, Chris Baker. Mourners were asked to wear green to the service, which was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood.

DJ AM was released from Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia on Saturday, a week after the crash that took the lives of four people. He and former Blink-182 drummer Barker were the only survivors.

“While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide,” his rep, Jenni Weinman, has said. “We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”

As reported earlier, DJ AM is burned on 12% of his body. According to a federal safety official, the plane crash involving former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM was possibly due to a blown tire.

“The crew reacted to a sound that was consistent with a tire blowout,” National Transportation Safety Board member Debbie Hersman said after listening to a cockpit voice recording of the Friday night crash.

Singer/actress Mandy Moore has reportedly flown to be bedside with DJ AM, following a plane crash this past weekend.

Unfortunately, DJ AM is burnt 12% on his body, according to TV Guide. He is awake, however, and moving around as he recovers.

Mandy and DJ AM used to be an item and dated for about two months early last year.

Travis Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler has also flown in for support.
