The classic ’70s show Charlie’s Angels is being revived and a pilot is close to being ordered thanks to ABC.

Set to exec produce (via Variety) is Drew Barrymore, Josh Friedman, Leonard Goldberg and Drew’s Flower Films production company partner Nancy Juvonen (the wife of Jimmy Fallon).

Friedman recently adapted the Terminator franchise for his Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Goldberg was one of the original Charlie’s Angels producers and helped launch the series with Aaron Spelling in 1976. Barrymore starred in and produced the 2000 film version and its sequel.

Drew Barrymore shows off a big smile at the screening of her new movie, Everybody’s Fine, at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (November 3) in Hollywood.

The 34-year-old actress wore a gorgeous Victoria Beckham dress, Casadei shoes, and Neil Lane jewels.

Drew stars in Everybody’s Fine as one of the adult children of Robert De Niro, who plays a widower that goes on a road trip. He sets off to reconnect with his children, played by Drew, Kate Beckinsale, and Sam Rockwell.

Ms. Barrymore recently expressed her desire to do a third Charlie’s Angels movie. “We would all be there in wheelchairs at some point and do it if we could,” she told Pop Tarts.

Drew Barrymore heads to rehearsals for Saturday Night Live on Friday afternoon (October 9) in New York City.

The 34-year-old actress was be fulfilling hosting duties tomorrow on SNL with musical guest Regina Spektor. Check out the video of them two and Drew’s Whip It co-star (and SNL regular) Kristen Wiig. Don’t forget to tune in!

“[My godfather Steven Spielberg] is a great mentor,” Drew told Access Hollywood. “He always talks about how important that is, mentoring, and he keeps his word. He really does… [He] told me when I was doing ET, ‘Never act your characters, be your characters.’ So I’ve always been very performance-oriented since then in trying to really believe in what you’re doing and instead of acting, just being that person.”
