After drawing in fewer than 5 million viewers per night, ABC will not be ordering more episodes of the supernatural comedy Eastwick.
The freshmen show, which stars Rebecca Romjin, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman, brought a new twist on the hit 1987 movie and book by John Updike, The Witches of Eastwick.
According to THR, Eastwick will finish production on 13 episodes and will air its final episodes on ABC in the usual Wednesday night time slot.

The 26-year-old actor stars in the upcoming TV series called Eastwick, an adaption of the 1987 movie The Witches of Eastwick. Matt plays Chad, a hot guy who’s having an affair with an older woman/witch named Roxie (Rebecca Romijn).

Former Popular star Sara Rue got engaged to teacher Kevin Price just nine days ago during a picnic in Malibu, Calif.
“As the sun was setting they brought the bill,” Sara tells Life & Style “I said, ‘Let me treat you to dinner because you planned the whole day.’ And he said ‘No I’m going to get dinner because it would be weird if I let you pay since I’m about to ask you to marry me.’”
“I want a white wedding dress, family and friends,” adds Sara, who also starred in Less Than Perfect. “I want to do everything right.” (She divorced from filmmaker Mischa Livingstone in 2007.)
Sara will next star in the new ABC series Eastwick about three very different women who find themselves drawn together by a mysterious man who unleashes unique powers in each of them. The witches will be played by Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price and Jamie Ray Newman.
