Two months ago, Lifetime movie costars LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were accused of having a steamy affair and yesterday, Eddie’s wife, Brandi Glanville, accused LeAnn of being a stalker.
Responding to these new reports, LeAnn’s rep tells Extra, “These comments are incredibly defamatory, and while there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.”

Eddie Cibrian distanced himself from his Lifetime movie costar LeAnn Rimes after rumors of a steamy love affair surfaced.
Now Eddie’s wife, Brandi Glanville, is claiming that LeAnn is still obsessed with her husband.
“LeAnn is a stalker,” Brandi tells Us Weekly. “She refuses to leave us alone — it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance… LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left her self-respect in the gutter and doesn’t care who she hurts to get what she wants. She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom.”

Rumored lovers LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were spotted by TMZ at a bar inside the Staples Center during halftime on Sunday (May 17) in Los Angeles.
If you’re accused of cheating on your husband and there’s video evidence, wouldn’t you want to stay hundreds of feet away from your rumored lover???
Was the affair all a publicity stunt? Are they now just yanking our chain and rubbing it in all of our faces? Or were they just friends the whole time and there’s nothing to hide? Hmm!!!

Yesterday, Eddie Cibrian denied having an affair with LeAnn Rimes, who described this time as “difficult” for herself and loved ones.
Us Weekly just released the video of the pair kissing, holding hands — and even sucking on each other’s fingers during a March 7 date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, Calif.

Eddie Cibrian shot down reports that he had an affair with his Northern Lights co-star LeAnn Rimes.
“Other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-television we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting initiated by US Magazine,” Eddie said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship.”
A Rimes friend tells People, “There are some feelings there but it’s too early to tell if it’s going to develop and if she’s done with her marriage… The situation that she’s grappling with right now is not the cause for her marriage troubles. There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set.”
Rimes, 26, and Cibrian, 35, have their upcoming TV movie Northern Lights, premiering this Saturday, March 21 @ 9PM ET/PT.

PopWrap just reported that Cibrian is dismissing the rumors. A pal quotes Cibrian as saying, “LeAnn and I are friends, we went to dinner, that’s it. The most ridiculous thing is that people believe I would do something like this period … much less do it in a public place. The false accusations are obviously causing a rift at home, but me and my family will get through this together… LeAnn and I just shot a movie together so it is a bit bizarre that the timing on this is so close.”

Last night, news broke that LeAnn Rimes was having an affair with her TV movie costar Eddie Cibrian (pictured here).
The 26-year-old country singer took to her Web site to address the situation. Here’s what she wrote:
“This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support. I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white. Have Faith, Le.”
Rimes, who is married to Dean Sheremet, got cozy with Cibrian on the set of her upcoming Lifetime flick, Northern Lights.
UPDATE: Dean is standing by LeAnn, after his rumored Twitter page was updated with: “I love my wife!!!”

For seven years, Rimes has been married to former backup dancer Dean Sheremet. Cirbian and model Brandi Glanville married in 2001 and have two sons, ages 5 and 23 months.
