SNL actor Fred Armisen and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss were married Sunday (October 25) at New York City’s The Foundry, her rep confirms.

October 25 is an important day for the couple - it was the anniversary of the day they’d met, when Elisabeth’s co-star Jon Hamm hosted SNL.

In August, Elisabeth, 27, told People that she hoped for a simple, “medium-sized” wedding. Elisabeth chose a bridal gown by Claire Pettibone, saying it was the only designer she ever wanted.

This is the second marriage for Fred, 42, who was previously married to singer/songwriter Sally Timms.

Whoopi Goldberg spilled details on Monday’s episode of The View and joked that she hoped Fred, who impersonates Joy Behar on the show, would do an impression at the ceremony.

“I have to say, I was kind of hoping he would be dressed as Joy for the wedding, just to come down the aisle,” Whoopi said.

We know family and friends were present for the nuptials, but there’s no word yet on a honeymoon location or celebrity guests - both Fred and Elisabeth keep quiet when it comes to their private lives.

Hamm on his longtime girlfriend: “Jen Westfeldt, and I and our dog, Cora, live in Los Feliz, where there are quite a few places we like to go….We’re mostly neighborhood types. There’s also a place in Atwater Village called Palate Food + Wine that’s really good.”

Hamm on his hit AMC show: “It’s like a nice novel you can kind of sit and pay attention to. The [show] is not meant to be on while you’re doing dishes, it’s meant to be enjoyed and savored and focused on, and it rewards that attention… We’re fortunate in a lot of ways that Mad Men is not watched by 15 million people a week, because there would be an expectation to appeal to a much broader section of the demographic, and I think the character would have to make different choices to be appealing to that demographic. We are fortunate in that – on our show- we can stay true to the character and his very difficult choices.”

Moss on life in Los Angeles: “LA will always be my hometown. I know where everything is: I know the streets really well; I never have to ask for directions.

Moss on her upcoming marriage to SNL’s Fred Armisen: “I think we’ve decided (we’ll get married) this fall. It’s not that far off, and it’s fun planning a wedding – nothing but an amazing experience for us. We agree on everything, so that’s good. It’s going to be a really fun special day, and I can’t wait. We both can’t wait.”

Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss graces the September 2009 cover of Venice magazine.

The 27-year-old actress tells Venice’s Susan Michals, “I love playing Peggy [Olson]. Finding the balance between playing her, finding new things, and not losing her, and constantly finding enough new stuff to keep her remaining herself…Playing her is an exercise in remaining simple, despite the fact that she is becoming more complicated. [She's] not out to hut anyone, she’s just trying to figure out who she is. But it still is agenda-free. She is looking for her place in the world.”

Elisabeth Moss keeps it classy in Reem Acra at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old Mad Men actress was accompanied on the red carpet by her fiance, Saturday Night Live funnyman Fred Armisen. Elisabeth accessorized with Chopard jewels and Sergio Rossi shoes and handbag.

Season 3 of Mad Men continues this Sunday (September 20) with a new episode airing @ 10PM ET/PT on AMC.

On-screen couple Jon Hamm and January Jones attend the Los Angeles premiere of Mad Men at the Directors Guild of America earlier this month.

Page Six is reporting that Hamm’s trying to get his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt a guest spot on his show. Producers can’t seem to find the “right storyline” for her.

The season 3 premiere of Mad Men premieres TONIGHT (August 16) @ 10PM ET/PT on AMC.
