Check out Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey as they share the cover of December’s O, The Oprah Magazine, on newsstands next Thursday (November 12).

The December issue will have two different covers featuring Oprah and Ellen - one for subscribers and one for newsstand buyers - and will feature the theme “Get Your Glow On!”

“When Ellen arrived at the photo shoot for our cover, I didn’t have to ask her how she was doing: it showed on her face,” Oprah said.

“She radiated the kind of peace and satisfaction that comes only when you’re living at your highest potential.”

You can also catch Ellen on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday (November 9), where she’ll discuss life, love and her new gig on American Idol.

Taylor Swift dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday and Ellen played a little Halloween prank trick on the 19-year-old country singing sensation.

Reality TV staple American Idol has chosen its new judge to replace Paula Abdul….and it’s Ellen DeGeneres!

The 51-year-old talk show host will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi for the next season on AI.

Ellen shared her excitement at the new opportunity, saying, “I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol. I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text in my vote! Hopefully I’m the people’s point of view because I’m just like you. I sit at home and I watch it. I’m not looking at it in a critical way from the producer’s mind. I’m looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person. ”

Her talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, will continue on. She shared on her show today, “I’m going to have a day job and a night job. This is so exciting for me!”

Ellen DeGeneres announced on Thursday night (March 20) that she’ll finally get her wish and be on the cover of “O” Magazine.

For weeks the 51-year-old talk show host has been trying to get on the cover of Oprah’s magazine. She first broke the news on her twitter page saying “Oprah just asked me to be on the cover of “O” magazine!”

To make things official, Oprah made a guest appearance on Friday’s taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about “the fantastic idea.” The two talk show hosts continued by joking about what they’ll wear for the shoot.

“Maybe I’ll wear pants, too,” Oprah offered during the taping.
Ellen joked back saying, “They’re comfortable, Oprah.”

Ellen DeGeneres welcomes her partner, actress Portia de Rossi, during a taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (March 12) at the WB lot in Burbank, Calif.

“In a meeting talking about Portia’s appearance on the show Monday I’m told I’ll learn something about her that she’s never told me,” Ellen said.

Portia, 36, is promoting her new show Better Off Ted, which premieres this Wednesday, March 18 @ 8:30PM ET/PT on ABC. EW gave the show a B+.

Jennifer Aniston gets surprised by Ellen DeGeneres with a red velvet cake on the set of Friends.

What a nice surprise–Jen hadn’t been back since they wrapped the show!

Jen talked about turning 40 (on Feb. 11), saying, “I feel better than I ever felt in my life. I did have a moment, though, over the weekend. My first, like, ‘Huh, … I don’t want to (turn 40).’ I found a really long gray hair and it kind of flipped me out. It’s not my first but it’s the fact that it was so long. I was like, ‘Oh that’s been there. How many others are there? And what does that mean? It actually brought me to tears slightly.”

Aniston is throwing a party on Saturday and Ellen tries to get elicit a response by holding up a picture John Mayer in his infamous green thong, saying, “He’ll probably go, right? Do you think he’ll wear this?”

“I got to tell you honestly I almost don’t want to touch it,” Aniston laughs, adding, “The man’s got balls, what can I say. I think he’s funny.”

Jen also broached the subject of a Friends reunion, saying, “Maybe. Like one (episode)… Not a movie, I just think what would they do?”

This episode airs today while Mayer will be a guest on Monday’s show. He confesses he stays over Aniston’s house: “Yeah there are sleepovers. Yes, yes there are.”
