The 18-year-old actress is set to play Alice Leeds in the movie adaption of Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. The book of the same name is about a high-school junior named Naomi who conks her head and can’t remember anything that happened since sixth grade.

Tanktop-clad Emma Roberts shows off her sexy side in the latest issue of GQ.

The mag’s Daniel Riley writes, “There’s a scene in this month’s Lymelife–the late-’70s-set Long Island cousin of American Beauty–in which Emma Roberts coaxes Rory Culkin to skip out of a church party, fetch a bottle of wine, and meet her in the priest’s confessional. Inside, she slips off her dress and instructs him to take a look. Instead, he tries to cop a feel: ‘I said look, you perv!’ Take heed. Emma Roberts, 18, knows what she wants, and her assuredness evokes a seasoned actress. Of her flowering career (from child star to indie darling), she says, ‘I don’t really ask my aunt [Julia Roberts] or my dad [Eric Roberts] for acting advice.’ Still, she’s not so mature that she’s ready to watch herself, say, losing her on-screen virginity. ‘The first time I saw that scene in the theater,’ she says, “I just got up and walked out.” We think you, dear reader, will want to stay seated.”

I ran into Emma Roberts a few weeks ago at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival after exercising at the Gatorade G Gym at Village at the Yard in Park City, Utah. (She had two films featured at Sundance — Lymelife and The Winning Season.)

I can now reveal that Emma will be the new face and brand ambassador for Neutrogena. She follows in the footsteps of beauty icons Diane Lane, Jennifer Garner, Vanessa Hudgens, Hayden Panettiere and Gabrielle Union.

“I’m so excited to enter this new chapter in my life. To be a part of a brand that I have always loved and believed in is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says Emma, whose latest film Hotel For Dogs is in theaters now.“It’s important to me to be associated with Neutrogena because they instill confidence and beauty in young women.”

Emma Roberts stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last week and shared a picture of herself posing with Matt Damon. Why was she wearing a green wig?

The 15-year-old actress shared, “I love Matt Damon. I’ve always loved him. When I was really young, I saw him at the gas station and I rolled down the window [of my car] and I waved to him and told him something along the lives of ‘I love you’. I don’t really know. A couple days later, I saw him at my aunt Julia [Roberts]’s birthday party and I was like, ‘Hey, I saw you at the gas station the other day.’ And he was like ‘Uh, what are you doing here?’ But I was a little kid, so it was excusable.”

Emma continued, “I don’t know why I was wearing a green wig, honestly. I can’t tell you. My mom found it [the picture] last night. I asked her, ‘Why did I go to her birthday party with a green wig?’. I don’t know, I think I was just a very odd child.”
