This week’s Entertainment Weekly features the highly anticipated Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the film adapted from the sixth novel in J.K. Rowling’s seven-volume series, and speaks with the stars about Twilight, tossing their Hogwarts uniforms, and their careers.

Daniel Radcliffe knows exactly what he wants to do post-Harry. “I have come to the conclusion that I am never happier than when I am on a film set,” he says. “This is what I want to be doing. Totally. Absolutely. Unequivocally!”

For Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, their hardest scene was a kiss between their characters Ron and Hermione that shapes their destiny. “I remember being inches away from her lips and thinking, ‘Good lord, this is going to be strange,’” says Rupert. Adds Emma: “Rupert is like a brother to me, and our relationship couldn’t be more platonic. So kissing him – well, it felt like incest, to be honest. But I think it’s going to be very sweet.”

Emma Watson dons a cute polka dot dress as she tapes her appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman at New York City’s Ed Sullivan theater on Wednesday (July 8).

The New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is tomorrow, July 9 at the Ziegfeld Theatre. In addition to Emma, the other stars expected to attend include Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Bonnie Wright and Tom Felton. More Here! »

Emma Watson and her soaking wet co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint arrive for the world premiere of Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince at London’s Empire Leicester Square on Tuesday (July 7).

Other pictures include a Harry Potter photo call at Claridges Hotel in Mayfair, which also included Sir Michael Gambon, Tom Felton, Jessie Cave, Bonnie Wright and Jim Broadbent. (Emma was in in Proenza Schouler.)

Emma Watson will be attending The Ivy League college Brown University in Fall 2009, confirms her Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe.

He tells UK’s Guardian, “[Emma's] very clever. Do you know her GCSE results? (bulges eyes) I was thrilled with mine - seven Bs, two As and an A*. I think Emma got three As and seven A*s - she’s incredibly academic, it’s frightening. Me and Rupert [Grint] to all intents and purposes dropped out of school. And she’s going to Brown.” (FYI: A*s are like A+s.)

Emma hoped to keep her college choice a secret: “I just want to keep it private [my college choice] for as long as I can. I probably sound like a paranoid nut, but I’m doing this because I want to be normal. I really want anonymity. I want to do it properly, like everyone else. As long as I don’t walk in, and see, like, Harry Potter posters everywhere, I’ll be fine.”

Oops, Daniel spilled the beans!

Emma Watson reportedly had her pick of all the top Ivy League colleges — Harvard, Columbia, Yale, Brown — but it seems like she decided to attend the very prestigious Columbia University.

The 19-year-old actress is supposedly listed in Columbia’s student directory under “Charlotte E Watson” (her birth name is Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson). She even visited the campus back in October.

Emma has said, “I just want to keep it private [my college choice] for as long as I can. I probably sound like a paranoid nut, but I’m doing this because I want to be normal. I really want anonymity. I want to do it properly, like everyone else. As long as I don’t walk in, and see, like, Harry Potter posters everywhere, I’ll be fine.”

Columbia, here comes Emma! No Harry Potter posters, you hear?

P.S. Yes, it is possible there is another student at Columbia named Charlotte E Watson who is not Emma Watson!

Emma Watson transforms from Harry Potter’s precocious overachiever to a full-blown glamour girl in the August 2009 issue of Teen Vogue. Here’s what the 19-year-old British actress had to say:

On her personal style: “It’s kind of my lucky brand [Chanel], a fail-safe. I live, really, in jeans from Topshop, blazers from Ralph Lauren or Reiss, and ballet flats. It’s very hard to describe your own style and I’m young, so I’m still experimenting. But I think it’s quite British and very much about individuality. There’s nothing interesting about looking perfect—you lose the point. You want what you’re wearing to say something about you, about who you are.”

On her on-screen romance with Rupert Grint in Harry Potter: “At the beginning, it looks like they’re on their way to finally being together, but of course Ron screws it up. So she’s jealous, and doesn’t quite realize it, and they have all these arguments.”

Emma recently posed for French fashion magazine Crash by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. “This was a dream come true, she told Crash. “We spent the whole day together and he can talk about anything - literature, art, science, modern culture. I was totally seduced.”
