Hunk du Jour Eric Bana is featured as in the April 2007 issue of Elle Magazine as this month’s “Elle Man.” The heartthrob from down under speaks out:

• On his trademark gaze: “I have a problem where when I think I’m looking friendly, I look like I want to kill someone.”
• On his acting technique: “If my character has to feel something, I pretty much want to feel it. I want to feel like I’m killing someone. I want to feel the guilt someone feels after he’s stabbed someone or shot someone. I want to feel the fear of pointing a gun at someone. Because it’s just bloody interesting. Otherwise it just feels fake.”
• On being an introvert: “I’d rather talk about anyone at a party but me, unless I’m with close friends and I’ve had a drink. You get sick of yourself. Anyone can jump onstage and do something; I want to watch.”
• On ‘Banatics,’ his female fans: “I don’t know what ages they are; it’s probably better if I didn’t.”
• On taking risks: “Risk-taking to me is not risk-taking. What scares me most is sitting around not doing anything, not taking chances.”

The premiere was held at the Arts Centre, State Theatre on Thursday afternoon.

700 Sundays is a one man show, in which Crystal wrote and performs, about his life as a young Jewish boy in Manhattan.

I am going to have to give a big H-E-double-hockey-sticks to the “NO” to those clogs and quite possibly to those pants…

Eric Bana is a Hottie-with-a-capital-H as he takes a relaxed stroll through Brighton, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia on late Sunday afternoon with his wife, Rebecca Gleeson.

Eric, 38, and Rebecca, 36, have been married for decade and share two children — Klaus, 7, and Sophia, 4.

The next Eric Bana featured film is Lucky You co-starring Drew Barrymore, Robert Downey Jr., Debra Messing, Robert Duvall, Jean Smart, Horatio Sanz. Eric plays Huck Cheever, a hotshot poker player tries to win a tournament in Vegas, but is fighting a losing battle with his personal problems. Lucky You opens May 4.

Eric has played some serious roles for a guy who started out as a stand-up comic, but that doesn’t mean the Aussie star of Chopper, Hulk, Troy, Munich and the upcoming Lucky You, direceted by Curtis Hanson, has lost his sense of humor. EXCITING! Here are the very first pictures from the set of historical drama The Other Boleyn Girl starring Eric Bana, Scarlett Johansson, and Natalie Portman (pictured above with head turned). The Other Boleyn Girl is based on Philippa Gregory’s novel and tells the story of the two ferociously ambitious Boleyn sisters contending for the affection of 16th century English King Henry VIII, played by Eric Bana. Natalie will play Anne Boleyn, Scarlett will play Mary Boleyn.

This cast seems really strong (and beautiful), so I’m banking on this move being a knockout. Kristin Scott Thomas (Sarah Davies in Mission: Impossible)recently joined the cast as Lady Elizabeth, the mother of the Boleyn sisters. The Other Boleyn Girl is set for a 2007 release. In Lucky You, director Curtis Hanson (L.A. Confidential, Wonder Boys, 8 Mile) brings us a story based in the world of high-stakes Las Vegas poker. Huck Cheever (Eric Bana) is a blaster—a player who goes all out, all the time. But in his personal relationships, Huck plays it tight, expertly avoiding emotional commitments and long-term expectations. When Huck sets out to win the main event of the 2003 World Series of Poker—and the affections of Billie Offer (Drew Barrymore), a young singer from Bakersfield—there is one significant obstacle in his path: his father, L.C. Cheever (Robert Duvall), the poker legend who abandoned Huck’s mother years ago. As these two rivals progress toward a final showdown at the poker table, Huck learns that to win in the games of life and poker, he must try to play cards the way he has been living his life and live his life the way he has been playing cards.

Lucky You production stills have been released! Besides Bana, Barrymore, and Duvall, the versatile and gifted actress Jean Smart (Martha Logan on 24) also stars in this movie along with Debra Messing, who plays the sister of Drew Barrymore’s character. (Smart is pictured in the stills, Messing is not.)  Robert Downey Jr. also makes a cameo in this film.
