Eric Bana & Kids in Canada

Aussie heart-throb Eric Bana and wife Rebecca Gleeson take their two kids — son Klaus, 8, and daughter Sophia, 5 — for a walk through Toronto, Canada on Monday afternoon. Sophia is wearing metallic sandals just like mommy!

It’s speculated that Gleeson is pregnant with the former Hulk’s third child. If so, congrats to the happy family!

Bana, who turned 39 last month, returned to his comedy roots last week with a guest-stint on Aussie sitcom, Kath & Kim. Does anyone have a clip to share???

Eric Bana Hits the Movie Trail

Eric Bana oozes sex appeal at a press conference on Monday at the Sydney Theatre in promotion of low-budget flick Romulus, My Father.

The Aussie pin-up sat at a panel discussion alongside producer Robert Connelly, director Richard Roxburgh, co-star Marton Csokas and writer Nick Drake.

Said Bana of his beer, “The large budget films have a fat to them where people don’t get told when to stop. On a little film like this you get told to stop all day long,” Bana told a Sydney news conference to promote the film. You all know that at 5:45 or at 6:00 you’re going to be in the pub and there is a certain creativity that comes from that. It’s definitely easier to remember people’s names.”

Later in the evening, Bana made his way to the Sydney premiere of Romulus.

Bana Fathers Heartfelt Flick

Eric Bana is joined by wife Rebecca Glesson at the Melbourne premiere of small-time Aussie flick Romulus, My Father at the Rivoli, Camberwell on Monday in Australia.

Said Bana at the film’s Castlemaine premiere of being able to relate to the story as he was also the son of immigrants: “Obviously wherever possible when you read a script you are hoping to form a bond with it, and something about that story makes you feel a bond with it as an actor. When I read this it was like a baseball bat over the head. It had a very strong presence with myself, not only as a Victorian but also as a son as a migrant. Not only are we representing the people who were real, we are representing someone’s story who is very much with us and was very much engaged with the production.”

Romulus, My Father opens in theaters in Australia on Thursday, May 31.

Bana’s Movie Bombs

Aussie actor Eric Bana shoots a promo in Santa Monica on Friday looking like his usual hot self.

Looking less than hot is his poker flick Lucky You co-starring Drew Barrymore, which tanked at the box office this weekend, opening in sixth place and barely making more than $900K on Friday.

It’s barely going to make $2 million dollars in its opening weekend!
