Tennis fans will recognize Brooklyn Decker as tennis champ Andy Roddick’s gorgeous wife — she’s in his box all the time!

The 22-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model is making a cameo on the hit ABC show Ugly Betty next week (October 30 @ 8PM ET/PT).

Here’s a synopsis of the ep: Betty (America Ferrera)is overwhelmed with her editorial work, so Wilhemina assigns Marc (Michael Urie) to be Betty’s temporary assistant. Betty’s story idea to cover the worst jobs in New York goes south when she has to dress up as a hot dog and do a Bollywood dance number. Meanwhile, Marc frets that he’ll never be taken seriously by his idol at Vogue magazine, Hilda gets Archie’s campaign in trouble, Daniel (Eric Mabius) hires a gorgeous but inept assistant (Decker), and Natalie introduces Daniel to the Community — a group whose charismatic leader (Dylan Baker) zeroes in on Daniel.

FYI: Brooklyn is wearing the fierce pair of Brian Atwood “Wicked” shoe in purple suede (as worn by Katy Perry and Jessica Stroup).

Check out the bright and fun new Season 4 promos for ABC’s hit show Ugly Betty.

The season premiere episode “The Butterfly Effect” airs on Friday (October 16) @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC. Betty (America Ferrera) starts her new job as associate features editor and deals with resentful co-workers; bullies prey on Justin (Mark Indelicato); Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) harbors a secret; Daniel’s distress takes its toll, while Betty tries to run her own Mode photo shoot.

In future episodes of Betty, Shakira will play herself and model Christie Brinkley will play Penelope Graybridge, the editor of a competing fashion mag.

Ugly Betty fashionisto Eric Mabius opens up about his wife Ivy in the June 2009 issue of Boston Common magazine

The 38-year-old actor shared, “We flirted a lot in (Amherst Regional) high school, but we never dated. I moved to [Amherst, Mass.] for the start of ninth grade, and one of the first classes I had was a science class, and that teacher doubled as our sex-ed teacher, so I literally used to have sex-ed with my future wide, which seems a little convenient, but it’s absolutely true.”

Eric is actually considering a return to Amherst: “We’re up there visiting my wife’s father all the time, and we’ve pretty much outgrown his home with the addition to our family…. We’re going to be going back there for the rest of our lives. Western Mass. has such a strong pull for us; it’s just a unique part of the world. We just saw a house that’s on a lake where we used to swim in high school. It was really cool.”

Earlier this week, Mr. Mabius shared pics of his newborn son Rylan Jaxson.

Rylan was born during early morning hours of Dec. 7. Eric and an in-labor Ivy rushed to catch an NYC cab — only to have it run out of gas en route to the hospital! “We had to pull over to the side of the highway,” Eric tells Life & Style. “The driver got out and started waving his hands to hail another cab.” Here’s a bit more from Eric:

On Rylan’s weight when he was born (10 pound, 3 ounce): “When he came out, he was so big, he looked like a toddler. (laughs) It was wild.”

On probably not having anymore kids: “We each come from two-children families. We think it’s a good, round number. Two kids are definitely more work than one. But they’re only going to be this age once. I don’t want to miss anything.”

Ugly Betty star Eric Mabius, aka magazine editor Daniel Meade, and his wife, interior designer Ivy Sherman, just welcomed son Rylan Jaxon Mabius.

A rep confirmed the baby news to Life & Style.

This is the second child for the couple — in June 2006, they welcomed their son, Maxfield Elliot. The two first met in high school during a health education class.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Ugly Betty star Eric Mabius, aka Daniel Meade, throws his support around wife Ivy Sherman at the launch party for the new BlackBerry Bold from AT&T held at 260 West Broadway in New York City on Tuesday.

Any day now, Ivy is expected to give birth to the couple’s second son, who will join big brother Maxfield Elliot, 2.

Other pictures include Eric, 37, and Ivy at the American Ballet Theatre 2008 City Center Fall Season Gala at NYC’s Pierre Hotel last week.

Eric Mabius, aka Ugly Betty’s Daniel Meade, arrives outside his Midtown Manhattan hotel in New York City on Wednesday.

Mr. Mabius, 37, stopped for some autographs and some pictures, just in time for tonight’s new Ugly Betty episode. What a coincidence!

Eric and his wife Ivy Sherman got married two years ago and have a son Maxfield Elliot. The couple is expecting their second child this year.
