Ethan Hawke sits on a swing on the Autumn/Winter 2009 cover of Hobo magazine, out later this month.

The 38-year-old actor shares about one of his upcoming movies: “Brooklyn’s Finest is a film I did with the director of Training Day, Antoine Fuqua, and it’s kind of like the East Coast answer to Training Day. It all takes place in the hottest precinct in the United States in Brooklyn and we shot there last summer, absolutely phenomenal experience. I had a pretty great time doing Training Day. To be making a movie with Denzel in South Central in 2000 was an incredible experience. And this was the same. It’s amazing. The Nation of Islam was doing security for the movie and we were shooting in the projects and working with and meeting a lot of fascinating people. You know, there’s a lot of extreme poverty in New York City still. It’s something that I don’t see when I’m taking my kids to school. It was fascinating to make a movie there, get to work with a bunch of people from that neighborhood.”

Ethan also has two other films out soon: New York, I Love You and Daybreakers. And this winter, Ethan will be directing Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind for The New Group, an artist-driven company with a commitment to developing and producing powerful theater.

Ethan Hawke and his wife Ryan Shawhughes welcomed Clementine Jane Hawke last Friday in New York City.

“They’re thrilled!” their rep told Us Weekly.

This is Ethan’s third child–he has two children, Maya, 10, and Levon, 6, from his previous marriage to actress Uma Thurman.

Hawke, 37, and Shawhughes secretly tied the knot in New York City in June. The pair met when she began working as a nanny for his first two kids.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Ethan Hawke is spotted wearing a wedding ring in New York City while out and about with his wife Ryan Shawhughes on Friday morning.

His publicist confirmed that the 37-year-old actor secretly married Ryan in June. “They were married last month in New York City,” according to Ethan’s rep, Mara Buxbaum. “No further details are available.”

Shawhughes is also pregnant with their child first child together, reportedly a baby girl. Ethan has his two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman – daughter Maya, 10, and son Levon, 6.

There is also video footage floating around of Ryan telling paparazzi that she has not married Ethan despite Buxbaum’s statement.

Ethan Hawke takes a walk on the film set of his latest movie Brooklyn’s Finest in Manhattan, New York on Tuesday.

The film centers on three unconnected Brooklyn cops winding up at the same deadly location after enduring vastly different career paths. Ellen Barkin, Richard Gere, Wesley Snipes and Don Cheadle co-star in the film. Ethan has genuine roots in Brooklyn as he went to the Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn Heights!

The 37-year-old actor has two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman. Maya Ray is 9 1/2 and Levon Roan is 6.

Ethan will be expecting another child with girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes. This will be the first child together for the couple.

Ethan Hawke and his family celebrate Father’s Day with a casual stroll through New York City on Sunday.

The 37-year-old actor walked through the Big Apple with pregnant girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes and his two kids, daughter Maya Ray, 9 1/2, and Levon Roan, 6. This will be the first child together for Ethan and Ryan.

Maya and Levon’s mother is actress Uma Thurman.

As reported in January, Ethan, 37, and Ryan, 29, first met when she worked as the nanny during his marriage to Uma Thurman. Ethan and Uma divorced in 2003 after five years of marriage and two kids - Maya, 9 1/2, and Levon, 6.

“There’s defininitely tension there,” one insider told OK! about the former couple. “They try to keep it private for the sake of the kids, but now he’s having a baby with a former nanny.”

Maggie Q films scenes for one of the 12 shorts for the anthology film New York, I Love You in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Thursday.

Ethan, 38, and Maggie, 27, were directed by Israeli-born French actor and director Yvan Attal. According to Wiki, Attal, 43, is currently looking into a possible role in the so far unannounced Prison Break season 4. Producer Brett Ratner reportedly approached Attal while on the set of Rush Hour 3.
