After a summer away, Evangeline Lilly returns to Hawaii to start filming the fourth season of ABC’s hit drama Lost (she’s been taping night sequences for the show).

Wearing an embroidered cotton sundress, Evangeline, 28, laid out on the beach with a gal pal on Sunday in Oahu, Hawaii.

Miss Lilly is said to be engaged to her former Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan. Lost will return in February 2008 and air consecutively, repeat-free, episodes until May. The show recently made TIME’s 100 Best Shows of All-Time…

Is that Evangeline’s mom and dad? They are or were, respectively, a beauty consultant and home economics teacher.

A fire may have destroyed the Kailua home rented by Lost’s Evangeline Lilly, but it certainly hasn’t crushed her spirits. Here Evangeline is holding up her burnt bra and laughing, as she shows “boyfriend” Dominic Monaghan, who is also part of the Lost. Also pictured is Dominic flipping through a photo album that survived the fire.

Official comments from both Evangeline and Dominic have not been made yet.
