Faith Hill will be releasing her first Christmas album of her 15-year career, “Joy to the World,” due September 16 on Warner Bros.

“I love everything about Christmas, and I have wanted to record a Christmas album since the beginning of my career,” Hill said while taking a break from shooting video for potential TV spots promoting the record.

Work on “Joy” started three years ago, but the project was sidetracked by other projects. When Faith Hill returned to the Christmas CD, “We were all commenting on how fresh it was and how exciting it was to be back on the project. You would think it would be difficult with it not being the Christmas season, but when you record something that you’re really proud of, it kind of stands the test of time, any time of the year.”

A woman grabbed her husband, Tim McGraw, by the balls in the groin area.

Faith wasted no time working her way over to the woman, scolding the husband molester in public!!

Faith said, “Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend. You don’t go grabbin’ somebody else’s, somebody’s husband’s balls, you understand me? That’s very disrespectful.”

Jesus took the wheel last night for American Idol’s Carrie Underwood. Not only did she look amazing from head to toe last night during last night’s Country Music Association’s Awards, Carrie, 23, took home female vocalist of the year.

UPDATE 1 :: Faith’s management company says Faith was just joking and didn’t know she was on camera. Sandra Westerman of Borman Entertainment said: “She would never disrespect one of the other artists.”

UPDATE 2 :: Faith released an official statement herself, saying: “The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me. For this to become a focus of attention given the talent gathered is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving Female Vocalist of The Year.”
