Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes go on another double date at master chef Wolfgang Puck’s steakhouse in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

This time, Tom, 45, and Katie, 29, dined with Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker, 46, and his wife Keisha, 35.

Just last week, TomKat went on a double date with Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett.

Keanu Reeves films a funeral scene for a fallen officer on the Los Angeles set of The Night Watchman on Wednesday with two co-stars — Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and Prison Break hottie Amaury Nolasco.

The Night Watchman, aka Night Watch, was written and will be directed by David Ayer (Harsh Times). The film also stars Chris Evans, Naomie Harris, Hugh Laurie, Common and Jay Mohr.

The LA Confidential Magazine’s annual Oscar Party brought out a lot of big name celebrities including Forest Whitaker, Vanessa Williams, Ben McKenzie, Mary J. Blige, Angie Harmon (with husband Jason Sehorn), and Isaiah Washington.

The festivities were held at the Skybar at Mondrian on Thursday night in Hollywood.

Forest was honored at the party for being an Academy Award nominee. He is also featured on the March Oscar cover of Los Angeles Confidential and opens up to the magazine about keeping grounded through all the glitz and glamour saying, “I’m trying to have a good time and celebrate. [My kids] aren’t really that aware of what’s going on — they know me more as a soccer dad.” You can read more of Forest’s interview with LA Confidential here.

Sandra Bullock helped award Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) with the American Riviera Award last night at the 22nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival. The festivities were held at the historic Arlington theater in Santa Barbara, Calif. Forest, 45, also received a Best Actor nod for his role in The Last King of Scotland.
