Freida Pinto will star in the Greek mythology flick War of the Gods, directed by Tarsem Singh.
Variety reports the 25-year-old Slumdog Millionaire star will portray Phaedra, an oracle priestess who must join young warrior Theseus — The Tudors’ Henry Cavill — on his quest to prevent a cataclysmic war from erupting between the immortal Greek gods and the evil powerful elder gods of the Titans.
War of Gods kicks off production in April.

Slumdog Millionaire stars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel walk arm in arm in London’s Notting Hill neighborhood on Tuesday (December 1).
Dev, 19, held hands with Freida, 25, and gave her a sweet kiss on the the forehead as they went into the Charles Worthington salon. The couple also picked up a box and some framed art from a house in the neighborhood.

Freida, 25, and Dev, 19, were introduced to a prehensile-tailed porcupine called Icana and Diego the ocelot, an endangered species of cat from South America often hunted for their beautiful fur.
“He is so soft and cute,” Freida was overheard saying back in her hotel lobby.

Boyle received the Britannia Award for Artistic Excellence in Directing. Dev, 19, was nominated for a BAFTA last year for his work on Slumdog.
Danny recently spoke out about his happiness for Dev and Freida. “They seem to be real soul mates….and I’m sure more than that,” he shared.
