George Clooney receives a very warm welcome from a friend as he and Elisabetta Canalis arrive via private jet to St. Moritz, Switzerland on Sunday (February 7).

The 48-year-old actor helped the Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief telethon raise more than $66 million to date for relief efforts.

The money will be split between eight organizations including Oxfam America, Partners in Health, Red Cross, UNICEF, World Food Programme, Yele Haiti Foundation and Clinton-Bush Haiti Foundation. Donations will be accepted for the next six months online (www.hopeforhaitinow.org).

Jennifer Aniston, Sacha Baron Cohen and John Cusack man the phones in Los Angeles at the Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief telethon airing on most all major networks on Friday (January 22).

George , 48, wore a Giorgio Armani two-button shawl collar tuxedo. Elisabetta, toted around a blush silk satin clutch from Ferragamo with Swarovski Gancino.

Mr. Clooney is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama for Up in the Air.

George Clooney will reportedly host a telethon to raise money to benefit the people of Haiti next Friday (January 22) on MTV!

The 48-year-old actor told Showbiz411’s Roger Friedman that he’s calling celebrity friends and asking them to participate!

According to Roger, George asked singer Sting to help and he simply asked, “Where do I go?”

The telethon will reportedly air on all the MTV channels, including VH1.

George Clooney and his girlfriend, model Elisabetta Canalis, step out in style at the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Awards gala at NYC’s Cipriani on Tuesday (January 12).

The 48-year-old Up in the Air actor tied with Morgan Freeman for the award for best actor!

In his speech, George said he wouldn’t be onstage if it weren’t for the film’s writer/director Jason Reitman and thanked the cast and crew for their hard work!

The new Roberto Cavalli Underwear ad campaign will star Elisabetta Canalis, the 31-year-old girlfriend of George Clooney.

Elisabetta said, “It was a great pleasure and huge privilege to work for Roberto and [artistic director Eva Cavalli]. The Cavalli brand has always been synonymous with the made in Italy excellence and known all over the world. I am proud to represent it in this campaign, shot by two of the world’s greatest photographers, [Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott‘”.

The campaign was shot in London in November 2009. Styled by Panos Yiapanis, make-up by Charlotte Tilbury and hair by Paul Hanlon.

George Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis attend the 2009 New York Film Critics Circle Awards in New York City on Monday night (January 11).

The 48-year-old actor grabbed the Best Actor honor at the awards event for his role in Up In The Air.

At the event, George shared with ET how he feels about the New York Film Critics Circle event.

“Well it’s fun,” said George. “I’ve sort of been around it a couple of times and I sort of know what to do and what not to do… every time they’re nice to you, you just say, ‘Thank you,’ and remember when they’re not nice to you.”

FYI: Elisabetta is wearing a Roberto Cavalli coat and pants and Giuseppe Zanotti Design shoes and clutch.
