• Tom and Katie will celebrate their nuptials with a post-wedding party in Los Angeles this weekend for friends who were not able to attend the wedding in Italy. Oprah’s rep has confirmed that she is not invited to this wedding celebration either!!!! Ooooooh.
• Caridee English was named America’s Next Top Model last night, edging out her last rival, Melrose Bickerstaff. Personally, I was rooting for Melrose. Maybe because of the Wikipedia foiler. And maybe because she has a much better walk and won most of the challenges. Poor girl.
• George Clooney says he would love to act in a Bollywood film, a television channel reported Thursday. “I’d love to. There are some filmmakers whose films when you see you say: That could be an interesting story to tell,” Geroge said in an interview to the private CNN-IBN channel.
• Madonna has signed a deal with H&M to produce a second line of clothing with the retail company. The line will go on sale in March.

George Clooney, Cate Blanchett and Tobey Maguire made their way out for the premiere of their upcoming film The Good German at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood last night. During the premiere, People’s Sexiest Man shed a few tears for Max, his 300-lb. pet pot-bellied pig who recently went to hog heaven. George shared his feelings: “I’m good. I just got home this morning, or this afternoon, so it’s strange not having him sitting on the carpet in the house, but, you know… sad, actually.” What was his best memory of Max? “Oh, there are plenty of them. He got me in a lot of trouble that pig, in general, (and) scared the hell out of a lot of delivery people, too.” George won’t be getting another pig: “I think Max covered all my pig needs.”

Playing off his appearance on David Letterman, George Clooney will be poking even more fun of his title of People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” (he won in 1987 and 2006). George will be sitting down with Matt Lauer to talk about his new film The Good German.” The interview will air on The Today Show on Monday, Dec. 4 and Tuesday, Dec 12 on NBC.

Originally on Letterman, pageant king George joked, “You tour with the other guys (who’ve won the award). We’ve got a bus. It’s Matthew McConaughey’s bus. You get a sash and a scepter and, well, we don’t like to call it a tiara.” Well, now George has got a sash and a crown tiara. Now all he needs is a scepter!

George Clooney playfully ragged on good friend Brad Pitt on last night’s The Late Show with David Letterman. George knocked Brad for also winning the title of “People’s Sexiest Man” twice. George joked of Brad: “He was a little upset. It sort of knocked his thing down a notch.”

Brad congratulated George’s win by taking out full-page ads in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, which read:

Dear George,

Congratulations on being People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.

“The Reverend Ted”

Yes, it’s in reference to that Ted. The Ted Haggard who was guilty of “sexually immoral conduct” and ex-pastor of mega-church New Life Church.

George retaliated on Letterman by showing old school pictures of Brad wearing tapered pants and a beret. Above is George imitating one of Brad’s cheesy poses.

George also joked of Matt Damon: “We felt bad for Matt Damon because he really wanted it. He campaigned hard for it but we think he just came up short.”

Synopsis: Based on the novel by Joseph Kanon, The Good German takes place in the ruins of post-WWII Berlin, where U.S. Army war correspondent Jake Geismar (George Clooney) becomes embroiled with Lena Brandt (Cate Blanchett), a former lover who is trying to escape her past in the aftermath of the war. Intrigue mounts as Jake tries to uncover the secrets Lena may be hiding in her desperation to get out of Berlin. Tully (Tobey Maguire), a soldier in the American army motor pool assigned to drive Jake around the city, has black market connections that may be Lena’s way out – or lead them all into even darker territory.
