Jennifer Aniston gets arrested and put in handcuffs by Gerard Butler as they film a new scene for their movie The Bounty in Astoria, New York on Monday (August 24).

In the scene, the 40-year-old actress is driven to the police station where Gerard plays a bounty hunter whose next target is his own wife.

Off-screen, Jennifer and Gerard were recently spotted holding hands at The Jane Hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.

Jennifer Aniston is back to work on the set of her new film The Bounty in Queens, New York City on Monday morning (August 24).

The 40-year-old actress and costar Gerard Butler were spotted holding hands this weekend at The Jane Hotel in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District.

“Jen and Gerry went out on Saturday night,” a source tells People. “[Gerry] had cocktails and … They were hand in hand.”

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler ride around in a car as they film scenes for their latest movie The Bounty in New York City on Thursday (August 6).

Jennifer, 40, will be heading to jail in her next movie. According to Variety, she’ll be starring and producing Goree Girls, a movie about female prisoners who get together to make a country band in the 1940s.

The movie is based on Skip Hollandsworth’s story called ‘O Sister, Where Art Thou’.

Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl (in Naeem Khan) attend the London premiere of The Ugly Truth held at the Vue West End on Tuesday (August 4).

Gerry, 39, appeared on the UK’s GMTV as a weatherman before attending the premiere. When asked if he was dating The Bounty co-star Jennifer Aniston, he said, “If I was I’d say I was - I’m not embarrassed by her. Maybe she’s embarrassed by me?”

Asked if he was snogging (making out with) Aniston, he responded, “I haven’t done it yet, but I’m excited. Maybe I am snogging her in real-life too, but just not going out with her.”

Gerard Butler arrives at his London Hotel to awaiting fans and photographers on Monday (August 3).

The 39-year-old actor is currently in the UK with costar Katherine Heigl promoting their new romantic comedy The Ugly Truth.

While in London, Gerry popped in on GMTV to give the weather report! “Temperatures will be, I’m guessing – I imagine – lower in the North and a little bit warmer in the South,” he joked. Watch the video of Gerry giving the weather forecast here.

Gerry also added that he’s looking forward to the day on The Bounty set when he gets to kiss costar Jennifer Aniston. “I haven’t done it yet,” he said, “but I’m excited … I’m lucky – yeah, I know.”
