Gillian Anderson: Believe in the Baby Bump!

Pregnant actress Gillian Anderson and boyfriend Mark Griffiths attend the world premiere of The X Files: I Want To Believe at Mann’s Grauman Chinese Theatre on Wednesday in Hollywood. The 39-year-old actress wore a royal blue satin v-neck gown by Moschino.

Gillian is due this fall but already has two kids: Piper Maru, 13, and Oscar, 20 months.

So far, X-Files has received a paltry 33% on RottenTomatoes.com. Here’s what Variety had to say so far: “If the first X-Files movie landed in the midst of the TV show’s run and near the height of its popularity, the second — far more modest in scope and ambition — comes six years after the program signed off. Both, however, share a common trait: Namely, neither would qualify as a better-than-average episode of the series.”

Peep the first movie still from the new X-Files movie!

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the Untitled X-Files Sequel, which has a tentative release date of July 25th.

If you never got into the series (myself included), this is your chance!

“There’s a whole audience I want to introduce X-Files to,” says Chris Carter, creator of the series and director of the new movie. “There were kids who couldn’t watch it on TV because it was too scary. Now they’re in college. I wanted a movie that everyone could go to.”
