The 28-year-old Brazilian beauty recently told Harper’s Bazaar that she’s ready to move into the role of wife and mother.

“I want to have a big family,” she says. “My parents have been together for 36 years, and that is what I want. I am in that place. It’s all good in that part of my life. It’s one part of my life that I’m learning about every day. I’ve been challenged a lot by it, but it’s the most rewarding part.”

Gisele Bundchen looks happy and refreshed on Monday (April 13th) after returning to her Manhattan residence after her wedding/honeymoon in Costa Rica.

The 28-year-old Brazilian beauty was all smiles as she went for a stroll in the West Village. Husband Tom Brady was no where to be seen!

Things remain tense between Gisele and Bridget Moynahan, mother to Tom’s 19-month-old son, John. A source told People, “Bridget isn’t angry about Gisele’s quotes, she’s hurt. For Jack’s sake, she wanted him to be comfortable with Gisele. Bridget tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. But that goodwill has taken a hit. She’s like, ‘Did she really say that?’ ”

Newlyweds 2.0 Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady (and her dog Vida) pick up a few items at a local pharmacy in Mal Pais, Costa Rica on Monday (April 6).

The couple re-married in front of friends and family at her home in Costa Rica, where they held a second wedding ceremony on Saturday (April 4).

FYI: Gisele’s dress was custom-made at John Galliano’s atelier in Paris.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady exchange vows in front of friends and family during a sunset ceremony at her home in Costa Rica early Saturday evening (April 4).

During the wedding, according to local reports, one of Gisele’s bodyguards fired gunshots through the rear window of a photographer’s SUV and then through the front windshield.

“At that moment, I thought was going to die,” photog Rolando Aviles told the New York Post. “The bullet went between us, missing our heads. If the bullet had been a little more to the left or right, it would have killed one of us.”

“I didn’t see who had the gun,” one of those involved in the confrontation told People afterwards. “I’ve been shot at before, but only when I was covering the war in Iraq or when I was in Israel. This is ridiculous!”

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady spend time with his son John on the beaches of Costa Rica on Friday where they are on vacation and having a reported second wedding with family and friends.

Gisele, 28, has been adjusting to being a second mom to John, and recently commented, “I understand that he has a mom (actress Bridget Moynahan) and I respect that. But, to me, it’s not like because somebody else delivered him that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent!”

Gisele Bundchen graces the May 2009 cover of Vanity Fair. Here’s what the 28-year-old Brazilian beauty opened up about:

On being compatible with Tom Brady: “He’s very close to his family. He’s Catholic. His parents have been married 40 years. He’s got a pure heart. That’s all that matters – he’s got the purest heart. I feel grateful because I have a lot of love in my life. I found the person I’m sharing my life with. I have a good man.”

On Tom’s love child with Bridget Moynahan (John Edward Thomas Moynahan): “It was definitely a surprise for both of us. In the beginning you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re thinking, This can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, Whoops – wake-up call! , [I]t was a very challenging situation. Obviously, in the beginning, it’s not the ideal thing.”

On doubts arising from her and Tom’s relationship: “You question at times – ‘Should I stay here? Maybe you should work this out.’ But when people break up, it’s for a reason. [Dealing with baby John] was a blessing, because otherwise I don’t think I would have known what he was made of, and he wouldn’t have known what I was made of. [I love Tom's integrity and] the way he was a good person through all the times. I was like, You have the heart in a good place! It made me feel more in love with him; it made me realize who he was.”

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are planning a second wedding, Radar reports.

With a 50-person guest list, the couple will have a wedding service in the first week in April in Costa Rica. The first wedding was a small, private ceremony at the St. Monica Catholic Church on February 26 in Santa Monica, Calif.

How romantic, wedding bells are ringing again!

Tom, 31, and Gisele, 28, are currently in Brazil for her grandfather’s 83rd birthday party.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady indulge in a few sweet treats — ice ceam cones! — in Horizontina, southern Brazil on Saturday (March 14).

According to O Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper, the newlyweds arrived to spend their “honeymoon” in Brazil (Gisele’s home country). Tom had the opportunity to meet his wife’s family members he hadn’t met before!

Gisele, 28, and Tom, 31, married last month in a small ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif.
