I LOVE ME SOME CHRIS BROWN!

Chris Brown kills it on-stage at the Grammys on Sunday night with his more-than-impressive step and dance moves from both him and his back-up dancers. The 17-year-old R&B singer injected some hot-footed funk as he performed his Scott Storch-produced debut single “Run It!”

Celebrities came out in droves for music mogul Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday night in Beverly Hills — Tyra Banks, Whitney Houston, Ellen DeGeneres with girlfriend Portia De Rossi, Ciara, Vanessa Minnillo with boyfriend Nick Lachey, and JC Chasez (below). Whitney is wearing Roberto Cavalli.

Justin Timberlake backed out of performing because he has the flu. I knew he didn’t look all there on Friday Night at the launch of “JT-TV.” Maybe he got the cooties from K-Fed when they hugged. Anything’s possible, right? I wonder if Justin’s going to be a no show at the Grammys…

Clive found a quick replacement for Justin and tapped Motown music legend Smokey Robinson to perform “My Girl.” (Sidenote: Clive signed UK’s Leona Lewis in a $10 million contract.)

One member of the press shares her experiences from the red carpet:

The bigger the star, the less time they spend on the red carpet. It appeared that [Christina] Aguilera only stopped for still photographers and then just kept walking down the red carpet.

We were given warning, “Clive and Whitney are coming down. They’re not going to stop, so get your shot.”

And indeed, they didn’t. A reporter shouted, “Whitney, how are you doing?” She said, without missing a step, “Cavalli, Cavalli,” referring to her dress designer, who also attended the party.

Obviously not one of Tyra’s best looks…

Sexy songstresses Christina Agulilera, Ashlee Simpson, Rihanna, LeAnn Rimes, and Pink sashay down the red carpet 2007 in their slinky dresses at music mogul Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy Awards Party on Saturday night at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Apparently before Ashlee walked up, her father and manager Joe Simpson instructed press not to ask any personal questions.

Pink performed a cover of Janis Joplin’s “Me & Bobby McGee.”
