Gwen Stefani takes her son Kingston, who just turned one last month, for some straight-up rodeo on Wednesday in the southeast fringe of downtown Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
The Sweet Escape singer changed into three different outfits while strolling around the grounds of The Calgary Stampede (”The Greatest Outdoor show on Earth”), which is a rodeo festival held for 10 days in the second week of every July.
Gwen, of course, wore her own fashions including the Harajuku Lovers Squiggy Backseat Thermal Bottom Pants in Sunny, which reads “Uh-O in the Backseat” on the backside. Cute!

Akon has released his apology song called “Sorry, Blame it on Me” in response to the suggestive video of him dancing with an underage fan during one of his concerts in Trinidad.
He publicly apologizes to his tourmate, Gwen Stefani, who lost Verizon as a sponsor because of this incident. No release date has been set for the the song but you can download the Akon’s “Sorry, Blame it on Me” MP3. Check out the lyrics below!

Gwen Stefani! She was, of course, accompanied by her son Kingston Rossdale, who just turned one this past Saturday. The mother-son pair took in the touristy sites including the Notre-Dame Basilica (Basilique Notre-Dame), Montreal’s oldest Catholic church, built in 1656.
Gwen has a show tonight at Montreal’s Bell Centre with opening acts Akon and Lady Sovereign.
According to Just No Doubt, “No Doubt have recorded ‘more than a dozen’ demos for the new album. And Tony is currently (or as of Saturday) on tour with Gwen to work on those demos, and write for the album.” WOOT!

Gwen Stefani steps out of her midtown hotel in NYC on Sunday morning with her hot hubby Gavin Rossdale and son Kingston, who just turned one on Saturday.
The picture perfect family hopped on Gwen’s tour bus en route to her concert in Atlantic City, which was held at the Borgata Hotel and Casino.
Next concert stop? Montreal, Canada!

Happy birthday Kingston!
Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, the son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale celebrated a happy first birthday today, May 26, 2007 in New York City by shopping with mom, pop, and grandparents in the historic SoHo district.
Gwen, 37, and Gavin, 41, bought Kingston a shirt that read “Good Life Begins At 1″ from Trico Field.
Kingston certainly has the good life! What great parents!

On the pressures of looking good in public: “If you had paparazzi outside your house, you’d make sure you looked good, too. I was dying to get out of the house, but I had to sneak into the back of my brother Todd’s car – eight months pregnant – and lie down on the floor. Just so we could go to Target.”
On Gavin Rossdale being a great father: “I even wrote in a song (from “Simple Kind of Life”), ‘You seem like you’d be a good dad.’ So, yeah, he’s lived up to my expectations, more than. He has always been very loving and romantic.”
On getting back into shape after giving birth: “It’s so much work afterward to get the weight off. I thought I was going to throw up (the first time she went jogging after giving birth). If you just do it, it comes off. And when you’re nursing, like I am, your metabolism is like, whoosh!”
On her never-ending diet: “I hate talking about it, but it’s true. I’ve always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. It’s an ongoing battle and it’s a nightmare. But I like clothes too much, and I always wanted to wear the outfits I would make. And I’m very vain. (laughs) I let myself cheat once or twice a day with a cookie or pizza.”
