Check out Gwen Stefani’s spread in the May 2007 Summer Fashion issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Un-frickin-believably gorgeous! And there are some hilarious quotes in her interview too!
On the pressures of looking good in public: “If you had paparazzi outside your house, you’d make sure you looked good, too. I was dying to get out of the house, but I had to sneak into the back of my brother Todd’s car – eight months pregnant – and lie down on the floor. Just so we could go to Target.”
On Gavin Rossdale being a great father: “I even wrote in a song (from “Simple Kind of Life”), ‘You seem like you’d be a good dad.’ So, yeah, he’s lived up to my expectations, more than. He has always been very loving and romantic.”
On getting back into shape after giving birth: “It’s so much work afterward to get the weight off. I thought I was going to throw up (the first time she went jogging after giving birth). If you just do it, it comes off. And when you’re nursing, like I am, your metabolism is like, whoosh!”
On her never-ending diet: “I hate talking about it, but it’s true. I’ve always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. It’s an ongoing battle and it’s a nightmare. But I like clothes too much, and I always wanted to wear the outfits I would make. And I’m very vain. (laughs) I let myself cheat once or twice a day with a cookie or pizza.”

Daisy Lowe: Gwen’s Stepdaughter
Daisy Lowe, daughter of Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale shows off her new hairstyle in London on Tuesday night.
Daisy, 18, was spotted walking around town with her mother, fashion designer Pearl Lowe.
Rossdsale, now 41, discovered he was Daisy’s father in 2004 after taking a DNA test.
If Daisy ever needed a job, she could be a celebrity impersonator for singer-songwriter Michelle Branch!

Harper’s Bazaar: Stefani Style
Gwen Stefani looks seriously stylish in the May 2007 Summer Fashion issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
The first picture below (Gwen’s headshot) is most likely the newsstand cover and the third picture is probably the subscribers cover. The second picture reads: “Time to stock up on warm-weather must-haves — from chic and easy frocks to the most covetable carryalls.”
The Sweet Escape singer was also spotted leaving a medical building in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. FlynetOnline speculates that Gwen could possible be pregnant. It’s not likele since Gwen recently expanded her worldwide 2007 tour, with new shows in Santa Barbara, Reno and Honolulu and tour dates scheduled up to October 14 in Copenhagen.

Even Gwen’s Socks Smell Like Couture
Gwen Stefani sends mixed messages as she passes through security at LAX Airport on Sunday afternoon — her purse reads “Our Love is the Real Thing,” her sweater reads “Where did my lamb go?” and even her socks read “Smells Like Couture.”
