“GODDESS” Gwyneth Paltrow goes through a major transformation for the September 2007 issue of W magazine. (This issue will be the magazine’s biggest issue ever… and we know how big that magazine is to begin with!)

On returning as the girlfriend of a superhero played by Robert Downey Jr. in soon in Iron Man: “It’s been a long time since I’ve done a big part in a movie, and I’m very excited. Robert called me and said, ‘Don’t you want to be in a movie that people see?’ And he’s right.”

On her growing brood: “Maybe in four years, I’ll have two in a row really quick again. But then at that point, when everyone’s potty-trained and sleeping through the night, are you really going to go back?

On her future adoption: “My husband really wants to adopt. So I don’t know, I’m sort of open for anything.”

Gwyneth, 34, is married to rocker Chris Martin and has two kids — daughter Apple, 3, and son Moses, 1.

Gwyneth, already 34, is already trying to de-wrinkle, according to Page Six.

She’s a frequent customer of Sonya Dakkar spa in Beverly Hills and recently picked up “Ultra Lux 9″ products, which includes a cream that contains the spit of a snake.

“It’s not Botox,” said one insider. “Just a cream that has the venom in it . . . [the cream] is part of the facials.”

Gwyneth Paltrow (in Zac Posen) hypes up Iron Man at the 2007 Comic-Con press panel held at the San Diego Convention Center on Saturday in San Diego, Calif. She finished off her look with Lanvin sandals and bangles.

Paltrow plays assistant Pepper Potts to arms manufacturer Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.).

When asked how did the actors prepared, co-star Downey joked, “Gwyneth was my personal assistant for two months. [pause] That was after we wrapped principal photography. Sometimes you do prep after.”

The audience laughed, Gwyneth looked confused. Added Downey, “She was running the acting department at the end of the day.”

“Such bulls***!” Gwyneth replied.

“I had to say that for a certain demographic” said Downey, winking at the ladies in the crowd.

And Gwyneth also commented on RDJ’s performance: “Robert is totally brilliant as Iron Man. He’s just incredible. He blew me away on set every day. It was really fun to just watch the clip of it downstairs with all the fans, and to see him all beautiful with his muscles and his goatee.”

Gwyneth Paltrow hobbles into West Hollywood’s Maxfield boutique with 3-year-old daughter Apple on Monday.

The 34-year-old Oscar winner is currently taking time off from filming superhero flick Iron Man because she recently fractured her right knee and had arthroscopic surgery.

It’s too bad Gwyneth’s on crutches — she can’t hide her face from paparazzi now! WOOT!

Gwyneth Paltrow takes a break from mommy duties and splurges on some shopping with a gap pal at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, CA.

The 34-year-old actress has been busy filming the Jon Favreau-directed movie, Iron Man!

In the upcoming superhero film, Gwyneth plays Virginia “Pepper” Potts, the personal assistant of Tony Stark (Iron Man), who reveals his identity to her.

Big name celebrities did their best to lip sync and dance to The Bee Gee’s “Stayin Alive.” Watch the video below!

• Madonna’s rep has shot down rumors that the pop star is returning to Malawi this weekend to adopt another child. Madonna is expected to visit the country, but it is so she can continue her work with the Raising Malawi organization. (She was seen leaving a London sound studio again with Justin Timberlake.)
• Lindsay Lohan and Harry Morton’s relationship is long over, but the two still have some issues to work out. Apparently Lindsay lives above Morton in L.A.’s Sierra Towers and her plumbing caused a flood that leaked into Morton’s apartment. A rep for Lindsay says this happened during her recent visit to New York and the situation is being taken care of.
• Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern shared a tender moment Tuesday night, changing the diaper of baby Dannielynn together, sources said.
• Bruce Willis and his Perfect Strangers co-star, Tamara Feldman, may be an item. The Post claims Willis “cuddled up against Feldman” during the premiere of their flick Tuesday night and the two kissed at an after-party later that night at the Gramercy Park Hotel.
