Gwyneth Paltrow (in Balenciaga) comes out of the Coldplay and Killers charity Warchild concert with all smiles at the O2 Empire Shepards Bush on Wednesday (February 18) in West London.

Coldplay, the biggest-selling band in the world last year, won no Brit Awards on Wednesday. They were up for four awards but didn’t one.

Chris Martin, the frontman for Coldplay, was recently audited by environmentalists and they found that his house was “leaking” energy. Gwyneth and Chris‘ home in Belsize Park wastes 1,020 kilowatt hours of heat a year, the TimesOnline reported earlier this week.

Gwyneth Paltrow steps out in a wild pair of Roger Vivier pink-and-yellow feather pumps at the Unforgettable Evening event at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Tuesday (February 10) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 36-year-old actress’s also wore a Balmain jacket over her Calvin Klein dress.

At the cancer awareness event, Gywn received the 2009 Courage Award. She, along with her mother, Blythe Danner, and brother, Jake Paltrow, established the Bruce Paltrow Fund in memory of her father who lived with oral cancer for several years.

“I always think about the people who are suffering from cancer or who have loved ones suffering,” Gwyn says. “It’s so brutal, such a horrible battle, such a terrifying thing to go through and they do such amazing work. Gwyneth Paltrow shines in a Versace metallic minidress at the 2009 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old actress kept warm in a Burberry cardigan and finished off her look with strappy Georgina Goodman sandals, and a Roger Vivier clutch.

At the ceremony, Gwyn introduced the an “utterly brilliant” British rock band Radiohead, who gave a rousing performance of “15 Step” accompanied by the USC marching band.

Gwyneth Paltrow reveals her dark side for the March 2009 cover of Elle UK magazine’s annual fashion issue.

“I saw this blog of people writing horrible things about me. And, you know, for a second you lose perspective and your ego is so wounded. You think, how could people hate me or hate my intentions or what I’m trying to do? I’m a good person and I’m trying to put good things into the world,” Gwyneth, 36, said.

“I am who I am. I can’t pretend to be somebody who makes £15,000 a year. That would be completely inauthentic. I know what my intention [with her email newsletter Goop] is – and if it makes one person’s life better, then it’s worth it. And f**k the haters!”

Gwyneth also shared about her marriage with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, and show down rumors that their marriage was headed for trouble. “It doesn’t behoove us to be a public couple. He certainly doesn’t want to be that. So it’s just better if we don’t – I mean, we’ve never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will. If people think that that means we’re not together, then – ha ha ha! – so be it.”

In the latest edition of GOOP, Gwyneth shares a supereasy family dinner — Garlic Bread, Turkey Meatballs, Spaghetti and Lemon-Basil Steamed Peas — that she loves to make on lazy Sundays.

Gwyneth Paltrow asked a couple of her best and most literary-minded girlfriends to share their top picks for books.

“I always like knowing the literary preferences of people,” the 36-year-old actress says. “I think it gives a better understanding of their inner life.”

One of her fave books is “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Brontë. Gwyn shares, “This was the first novel I ever read. Actually, it was read to me by my mother. We started it when I was 10 years old. The novel starts out with a young Jane, about the age I was at the time, so I was drawn in, in such a visceral way. It was the moment I really started to understand, from my little bed in a room with strawberry wallpaper, that there was a scope to the world, a past and future, that would be there for the learning and for the taking. It was a powerful and deep experience, being read those words, that story with all of its heavy imagery and emotion.”

The other two were “Crime and Punishment” by Fyodor Dostoevsky and “The Sheltering Sky” by Paul Bowles.

Madonna’s favorites include “The Bad Girl” by Mario Vargas Llosa, “Shantaram” by Gregory David Roberts and “The Time Traveler’s Wife” by Audrey Niffenegger.
